jo Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Most of the Christian Louboutin shoes and boots I see offered for sale have a 120 mm heel. There's a few with 100 mm or 140 mm heel, but the 160 mm models seem sadly lacking; I rarely, if ever, see those available. Are these reserved solely for purchase by celebrities, sold only in the CL boutiques, only available by special order, or what?
CLFanatic Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 ^^None of the above, actually. The Alti Pump 160 just went on sale at Barneys, 40% off. I was lucky enough to snag a pair on sale on net-a-porter a while ago. They are not on the special order list.
Gentleman Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Does anyone know when exactly the Loubies on this page will hit the shops? I am falling in love with one of the pairs of shoes and really want to get them in the next month or so. Thanks. My ex had a pair of those

CLFanatic Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 ^^I love the fact that they are so feminine. I actually recently acquired my second pair.
trixi Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 What about these !? http://www.thisnext.com/item/44A89CE5/DC36E8BA/Bruno-Frisoni-Stiletto-Patent
emmah Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 These will probably never be sold to the general public, but I love them all the same I found the picture here: http://www.style.com/stylefile/2007/09/red-hot-2/
Strip Poker 388 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 what is the platform height with the 160's???
CLFanatic Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 ^^It's close to an inch and a half total, counting both platforms.
Strip Poker 388 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 ^^It's close to an inch and a half total, counting both platforms. So that would mean it would be like walking in 4 13/16th's heel, all most 5.My gf is use to the 5in heels, and should be easy to walk in.
DR Who 3 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hi Emmah. There is a picture out there in web land that I have seen of a model standing in these beautiful ballets but I can't find it any more. If some other members have seen this same picture please post a link if you can. Do you like ballet heels if so please respond with some of your experiences or wishes. Dr Who 3

kbl Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I like the Alti 160's the bestThat last pic is lovely. Do they do they in a US13?
CLFanatic Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 As far as I have seen, the women's shoes only go up to size 42 (roughly US 12 but CL usually runs small), and that size is pretty rare.
gjkgjkjk25 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I simply love Louboutin. there getting so main streem now though. When something is unique, i find, its always more attractive. x
