lorenziluvrr Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Hi All, Long time reader, first time poster. Thanks to all for making this forum a validation of my "special interest". Many of the posters have been an inspiration to my outlook on wearing and enjoying high heels as a male. It is great to know that one is not alone and that there are others who share this passion! As my moniker implies, I am a huge fan of the designs of Gianmarco Lorenzi. His shoes and boots are the ultimate in design, sex appeal and wearability. I'm proud to say I own 5 pairs of boots and 3 pairs of shoes from this designer house. Ahhh, the sacrifices we make in pursuit of our desires! To all the street heelers out there who have the courage to be themselves, thanks for leading the way. "Damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead!" I look forward to following behind the wonderful sound of your heels! My others passions? Great wine, food, single malt scotch and travel, all designed to broaden ones horizons and help them see the world in a better way. Best Regards, Lorenziluvrr

johnieheel Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Welcome lorenziluvrr; I'm sure you will enjoy it here. More the better. We are trying to get together a mini meat down here in Ohio in Oct. Would be nice to have you along for some good food and serious shoe shopping. real men wear heels
roniheels Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Wecome, Lorenziluvrr. I too was surprised and delighted at all of the male contributors to this website that enjoy wearing high heels. I love your attitude concerning street heeling. Just yesterday I was around the town in places where I had never been wearing one of my favorite suits and a pair of black patent leather pumps with 5" stiletto heels. It is always fun and such a rush. With your collection, so far, sounds like you are off to a good start. Hope to hear more from you soon. Welcome again.
lorenziluvrr Posted May 12, 2008 Author Posted May 12, 2008 Thanks to all for a warm welcome. I'm preparing for a lengthy vacation so a digital camera is on my shopping list. Once I figure that puppy out, I'll post a few pictures of my GML killer heels to share. Seems like alot of people had a blast at the London Heel Meet. I'd sure like to check it out one day. You're right roniheels, street heeling is a huge adrenalin rush. The day of my first post on July 9 was the first time I went out in broad daylight. I wanted to do this before I made my first post, sort of like "paying your dues" to get membership. Went out to a crowded grocery store in 4" stiletto Stuart Weitzman knee high boots. Only comment was on the way home when a lady and her young son" snuck up" behind me with their bikes on the sidewalk. The woman just said "nice shoes". I thanked her and just kept clicking along my merry way. I would love to take a pair of my GMLs for a stroll, but I'm afraid the pavement would destroy the metal heel tips. They're just too beautiful to get scuffed and abused. Cheers! Lorenziluvrr
IBL70 Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Hello and welcome to HHplace. I don,t know about Gianmarco Lorenzi shoes and boots. When you are able to could you post some pics of your boot and shoes? The day you discover Lorenzi boots or shoes , you'll get mad of them ! The only problem is they are luxus fashion shoes , and it's not easy to find them at a clearance or sales prices . They are expenssive like Louboutin and other luxus fashion designer .
Maximilian Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Welcome Lorenziluvrr, You have good taste in shoes/boots. Nothing beats Italian shoe/boot craftsmanship. The last pair of boots I bought were 3 inch otk Giuseppe Zanotti brown boots. They look and smell so good, not to say so comfortable with the small yet very sexy stiletto heel. Where abouts in Canada are you from? West/East?
lorenziluvrr Posted May 21, 2008 Author Posted May 21, 2008 Hi Maximilian! & Mizterheel, Nice to see other fellow Canucks on the board. I am from Edmonton, Alberta, home of the Oilers hockey team, a big shopping mall, a few casinos and far too many days with bad weather. I agree with Max that Italian designs and craftmanship are tough to beat for sex appeal. A guy can go broke chasing the big designer names! Ahh well, thats the price we pay for our hobby. What neck of the woods do you hail from this big country of ours? Cheers! Lorenziluvrr
