jojo
Today I went into my nearest city fully intending to buy more heels but found all the shops only stocked up to a Size 8 whilst I am a Size 9. 'New Look' had several really nice styles and I even found the courage to ask an assistant if they stocked Size 9. The only place that did have my size was 'Brantano' but the selection was very limited and not very attractive. Can anyone advise where I can buy Size 9 heels on the UK High Street? loswabs
I've found New Look to be on the generous side size-wise so maybe you could try an 8? Forgive if you did and they were too small, but you didn't say. Digressing a little, I love to try on shoes but of course can't afford everything I like so it's always useful finding shoes that don't quite fit in the shop It's my opinion, no more, no less
Firefox
Heelfan or Dr Shoe on this board can point you in the direction of a few specialist bigfoot shops. I think there are some near Oxford street. Elephant feet is one I think. Or you can get leather 8's and stretch up to a 9. Most leather shoes will stretch up 1 size. katie
Barratts.co.uk do size 9s. I have no idea if they stock them in the shops. Tallgirls.co.uk do 9-13s, but only mail order and their selections are bit "ordinary". They do seem to assume that anyone who needs a size 9 also doesn't need to be much taller... Next do size 9s, but they never have stock in the stores (I end up mail ordering). Faith is similar - Faith's sizes in heels seem to come up small, in flats large. lorriette
in Cwmbran, Monmouthshire, there is a branch of Priceless shoes, I believe it is part of a national chain, that sells all its styles up to uk9 euro43 and they are a true fit. Prices range from £5 up to around £50. In the January sale, i bought two pairs of trouser boots, mm suede, 4" stiletto heel for just £13. I might add the sales girls are fine and helpfull, and didn't react adversly to men trying on the shoes. All styles are on the shelf in pairs. Hope you can find a branch near you. totter along into history

Another vote for Priceless! Owned by Barratts. Have a look at their website >> here << I bought some rather fetching over-the-knee boots with 4" heel for £25 in early January. [shown in link.] Boots were so comfy I didn't want to take them off. [And some days, didn't. ) They are still there, with many other inexpensive styles. You'll notice these were available in 9's .... P.S. Barratts have some quite high court shoes in their shops at the moment, with some nicer styles than I found on their web-site. Worth a visit if you like courts.
