Television's Queen of High Heels?

There are some very beautiful women on TV who regularly wear "to die for" high heels, and viewers get regular views of their shoes. Who do you think should be chosen as Television's Queen of High Heels? Why? May I begin by nominating two beautiful women? 1. Robin Meade on CNN's Headline "Robin & Company". Robin is drop dead gorgeous and almost always wears heels. Latel7y, she's been wearing some awesome calf length boots with heels. Yowza!! 2. Kelly Ripa on ABC's "Live with Regis and Kelly". Kelly is quite short and usually wears skyscapers. In the last half hour of the show, they interview celebraties, and the drill is walking up to greet and buss them, then sit on high stools. Kelly has a pair of black patent pumps with insole strap and short platform. The soles are red. Christian Louboutin? Who are your nominees? P.S. When I become a bit more technically savvy, I'll try to download some images.

Good input. I don't have a problem with men being listed. but shall we narrow the field by including only currently produced programming? That would disclude series reruns (so as wonderful as it is watching Pammy running along the top of a moving train in platformed heels, or the ladies in "Sex and the City" they would not be included). I'd like to see what they wear now. Oprah certainly qualifies, as does Tyra. But please explain why? ("Unusual styles", "often wears ultra heels", "discusses her shoes", etc.) Also, want to include programming from other countries besides US. We can set up a different listing for shoes out of production. What do you folks think?

[picky, Picky, PICKY!]

Oddly enough, I don't recall ever hearing Oprah say anything about her shoes. But she does wear heels most of the time (on rare occasion I've seen her not wear heels) and she displays them very prominently. That is to say, her skirts and dresses are usually short enough that her shoes are readily visible. As for what makes her sexy - that's much more difficult to define. She usually wears her hair well, but it's not her hair. She usually dresses very well, but it's not her attire.

She exudes an aura of confidence and her poise is nothing less than exquisite. I don't recall ever seeing her at a loss for words. Moreover, for a woman who has the kinds of money that she has, she's remarkably humble, personable, and charming. Her jewelry, outfits, and hair are usually very tastefully done without being overdone. So what's not to like? 8) In short, everything that makes Oprah Oprah is what makes her sexy. But if someone tried to copy her, it would probably be a disaster.

Keep on stepping,

Good points, Guy. It isn't JUST the shoes or a woman's looks that make her sexy and attractive. It's how she carries herself! I'd rather watch a gal who may not have a perfect face and figure, but who smiles, moves with poise, confidence and class than someone with a perfect face and figure who clomps around, shoulders drooping with a scowl on her face. And the TOTAL look is important- hair, outfit, make-up, etc. As for the other women mentioned (Katie and the Fox foxes), thanks for the tips. I'll have to check them out! Af riend said I should also watch "The View", but tried and was turned off by the banal banter. Maybe I'll put some good music on and watch with the TV with the sound muted.
