I know you're thinking "and?", but this is a town that has been known to have very narrow-minded people in it. The first time I went out with any friends, I wore these: The nice thing was, there was no reaction! It was all about the conversation, and it was wonderful. I then went the following payday to a friends house for some geeking out, followed by coffee. This time, I just wore my normal stompers: These are nowhere near as flashy as the other ones, but elicited some positive feedback from one of my friends there, since she was sort of into the gothy thing as well. I guess it just goes to show that some towns really can change in some small, yet important ways. SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
