LukeVibertUK Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Just been watching these out of curiosity more than anything...they have just gone for some SERIOUS money! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280074148079&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:UK:12 If I was the seller I'd be well chuffed!
Dr. Shoe Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I now know what I'm going to make first when I get my design studio up and running! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
LukeVibertUK Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 Perhaps in a more sensible colour though Dr.Shoe?
Dr. Shoe Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Will more sensible colours make that much money...? Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
LukeVibertUK Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 If you could make them in Black, White or Tan I'd be a serious customer

jmc Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Isn't it amazing how people get caught up in the excitement on eBay? I've seen bidders pay more for a used item than it would have cost had they ordered it new! Have a happy time!

I've seen bidders pay more for a used item than it would have cost had they ordered it new! Absolutly, especially when you see people putting silly bids on things with minimal value + postage it just gets daft. I think the shoes above are either a serious collector or a museum?! However, if anyone out there can make or recommend a cobler to make a replica pair of these I'm interested! If I was the seller I would be saying "the drinks are on the 'ouse" as over quoted by Peggy Mitchell in Eastenders!
