driving in 5.5" heels is 100% diferent then driving in ballet heels. Certain vehicles are ok for driving in heels, but I highly recommend against trying to drive in ballet heels

I drive in ballet heels whenever I want to wear them out in public. I have even driven a 5 speed standard in Pittsburgh rush hour traffic with them on. It takes a little getting used to but can be done safely with a little practice.

Not saying I havnt done it in both an auto trans Astro van, and a stick shift Wrangler.. but I recommend against doing so in any case.

Derf that is quite gutsy. I have driven in my 1025s a few times around our town. I wonder what the police would say if they ever saw someone driving in them. Would they get a ticket for driving impaired wearing bboots? It is still nerve racking a bit though especially driving a 5 speed pickup truck. Perhaps more practice is needeed. Dr Who 3

Dr_Who: I suspect depending on how pissed off the cop is you'd get either careless driving, or wreckless endangerment. I've delt with a wreckless case, not fun. Not recommended.
