Hi Everyone,
As this is my first post. I wish it was a happier one.
I'm a 33 year old male Cross Dresser. I've worn 5" Pumps for years with no difficulty. I could run, jump, dance - anything in them basically!
Last August I had a cycling accident amd suffered a minor tear to my Medial Collateral ligament. I received bad physiotherapy and ended up with crunching and clunking in the knee and my muscles wasted.
Found myself a good physio and have slowly built the muscle back. Knee still crunches a bit and the pain comes and goes. Feel a long way off but a definate improvement.
Unfortunately 6 weeks ago my right knee started playing up too It aches and clicks slightly on the outside of the knee
Physio says I've pulled a muscle badly and I'm suffering from muscular tension brought on from anxiety, stress and favouring the "Good Leg" Which is causing the tendon to click. Physio says its nothing to worry about.
I ask the Physio every session if I'll make a recovery and she always says I will make a 100% recovery on both knees. A knee specialist also said I don't have anything major wrong with me and that physio should cure it. I've been referred for a MRI scan just in case. The longer it drags on the less I believe it.
Have any of you had a similar experience? I have a dilema. Do I ask the physio whether I'll be able to wear heels again? Or just keep quiet about it. I'm worried because she'll probably think I'm some sort of sick pervert and also the medical profession are very anti heels in general. All I'd probably get is from her is: "Well I wouldn't recommend anyone wears them -They're bad for you etc".
Any help would be greatly appreciated as not being able to wear heels is making me very depressed.
Thanks
