ShockQueen Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 Usually, when you send out for shoes & boots via mail order, it's a pretty cut and dry case, although sometimes there are a few hiccups. I placed an order with BeverlyHeels a while back (11/05), and ordered a nice pair of pumps (see here for pics of the shoes - the boots were from somewhere else) and boots. I asked the site about the boots (knee-high black leather w/5" heel) if they were still available since I saw the picture, but not the option. They told me that they would be available again on 12/22, so I asked if they would ship then if I placed the order now. They assured me there would be no problem....they'll ship the boots as soon as the manufacturer gets them. I got the pumps just fine (they are awesome!), and then waited for the boots. After a week past the expected time, I asked what the status was. They replied promptly all the time, and even cc'd me on their communications with the manufacturer. Just the other day, I got this: Hi there, I just talked to her about it again, and she said they just got it back in stock, and will process it. I dont know how so much confusion got into this order, but I think it has all been straightened out now. She said she couldnt find the order, but she already shipped the other shoes in the same order, so I gave her the info, and she will get them out. Thanks for your patience! dag So I'll be getting my boots here soon! Yay! If you have not tried these guys before, I'd put them on my "recommended" list. I'll get some pics posted once they arrive. I wouldn't ask that a manufacturer keep everything in stock for speedy delivery, just notify me of the order status every now and again, so I'd know I wasn't forgotten. I personally have dealt with other online shoe stores that for lack of a better term are very slow and never seem to have anything in stock. But they always come through. Shafted, the boots that is! The boots arrived today by UPS, so I took them straightaway out of the box and laced 'em up! Fit - like - a - GLOVE! Just like they were made for me and only me :-D And yes....pics are DEFINITELY coming VERY soon! Time to take these babies out for a spin!
