Danielinheels Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I know that it's possible to view these photos in the link below... but I'd like to know what everyone thinks of these. These photos were taken March 1st, 2005 in my living room. My first (somewhat) real photo shoot, starring myself as both camerman and heel model. I somewhat regret blurring myself out, but I was a bit more bashful then. This is an outfit I'd likely never take outdoors, as the entire heel is exposed due to the length of the pants (which I chose on purpose for the photo shoot so the full shoe would be visible). The shoes are a style called "Knotty," originally sold at Frederick's but now carried at a variety of stores, most notably here for $29.99 + s/h. They're a 5-inch heel, available in sizes 6-13 including some half sizes. A very comfortable shoe after getting used to. Enough words, now for the pictures Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde

shrimper Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 The straps frame the toes well and the heel height is just right for you.
Danielinheels Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 shafted and larry thanks for the compliment! silly me didn't think to do any more shoots at the time, I wish I could've modeled more of the shoes on my geocities page with the possible outfits. It would certainly help stage the "using your best photos" idea started by kneehighs. Heck, who knows, maybe I could've become a shoe model... as it stands, it's something I'd be interested in doing if the right situation arose. shrimper I'd never thought about it that way, thanks! In the picture where I'm laying down across the couch, I wanted the pants legs to come up a bit more to show off the ankle-wrap, but it didn't quite come out that way. However, I was pleased enough with the pics as they were, and was already out of dress (including the shoes) when I put these photos on the computer. As far as the heel height, it might have been TOO good! With me standing 6'4" in stocking feet, the extra 5 inches would practically make me an NBA player. I prefer between 3 and 4 inches, and these shoes were incorrectly listed as 4" heels, but I didn't mind upon receiving them. Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde

HHwornbare Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Nice pics, Danielle, I love those heels. How do they sound when you walk on a hard floor with them??
Danielinheels Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 ^ Thanks. On hardwood floors, they made a somewhat heavy clicking sound - which became a much lighter sound on tile. Outdoors one could barely hear the clicks... Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde
Dawn HH Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Danielle:-) You have modeled the outfit and the shoes very well. Even though the heels were incorrectly advertised as 4", you wear them well and they look very natural on you. Congrats! Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
Danielinheels Posted January 19, 2006 Author Posted January 19, 2006 Thanks, Dawn Every time I look at these pictures, a few thoughts run through my mind... 1 - I probably --should-- have worn those out somewhere beyond the boundaries of my home 2 - I wish the friend who I gave them to, still had them - I can picture her now, practicing to walk in them 3 - I miss wearing heels Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde
