Magickman Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 When I looked out the window this morning, there was a thick coat of fresh snow covering everything. The sidewalk and driveway needed to be shoveled. I gathered coat, hat, and gloves. Where were my snow boots? Out in the truck, I guessed. So I put on my Steve Madden "P-Press" leather mid-calf boots with 4" heels, and headed outside. The snow was around as deep as my heels were high, so I grabbed the shovel and went to work. Half an hour later, the shoveling was complete. Without slipping, falling, or injuring myself, I had completely shoveled the heavy, wet snow, while wearing 4" heels. No pictures or witnesses to chronicle this amazing event, but that is what happened. Should there be a high heeled Olympics?
Latextex Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I know it was quite a feat to shovel snow in 4" heels, but if there was ever a contest, you'd have lots of competition. See: http://www.archenemysvideo.com/Gallery/Video/Mandy_Blizzard01.htm
Shafted Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I believe, as I have shoveled snow in heels as well. Shafted, the boots that is! Dr. Shoe Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I bet she had cold knees when she finished..... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Dawn HH Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I'll bet that that wasn't all that was cold by the time she finished the job. If I was shoveling, I would want to be a bit more warmly dressed, myself. Doing it in heels wouldn't bother me any. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
