JackTheHeel Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Any experience of these boots?: ELLIE SHOES: Knee-High Boots, Stretch, Lace-Up, 5-inch, flair heel with 1.5-inch platform. http://www.howcool.com/elliesshoes/EL-557-GINA-Q.htm Been thinking to buy them for street heeling. Jack
ShockQueen Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I have the kind that is not stretchy, but same type of boot. VERY comfy for street heeling, but if you're going out for an extended period of time, some nice gel insoles may do the trick. :-) Happy Heeling! SQ SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
RashidAmir Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Hi ! I have 2 other pairs from the same company. They are very well built and comfortable. Hope you too have a good time with yours ! James
canadianbeaver17 Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I have one pair from Ellie Shoes. They are very comfy and well-built. I strongly recommend them.
JackTheHeel Posted December 16, 2005 Author Posted December 16, 2005 Thank you for the comments. I asked the company about the calf measure because all my boots are a little bit loose at the calf, I now try to get boots which fit at the calf also. Keep Heeling, Jack The Heel
tal Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I got a similair pair, but i think they are from pleasers (white, hard patent). Those i can run in Very comfy! My username changes every now and then on here. God knows why.
Shafted Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 I think that both Pleaser and Ellie are made by the same manufacturer in China. As well as having many of the same models, many of those models even have the same model name. It's kind of a dead givaway. Shafted, the boots that is! Dawn HH Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I don't have that particular brand, but I can vouch for a pair of insoles making a pair of boots more comfortable for long public wearing. They give additional padding and help prevent toe burn. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
