kneehighs
That's an inspiring and heart warming tradition there! I sure wish I could feel a little bit more of the Christmas spirit, but alas, I don't even have a tree nor have I ever had a tree in my shrunken mini one bedroom apartment. Sure my building has a fancy schmancy tree...I like the part about how you systematically collect ornaments and how you leave carrots for the reindeer! Reminds me of my childhood. One time, I remember I told my parents and grandparents that I actually heard the reindeer on our roof! And I recall how I used to wait up all night until my grandpa would finally drift off to sleep in front of the tv. Then I'd tiptoe past him and start to look at all my presents. One time, grandpa heard me coming and pretended to be asleep but as soon as I reached for the presents I heard, "watcha doin there?" ooops. Thanks for sharing your Christmas spirit and while I didn't answer your question, I lived vicariously through your story. Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
