Dexter23 Posted May 22, 2002 Posted May 22, 2002 For my work I go out in the whole country (Netherlands) to work on computers. I think i can manage to wear High heels to the office. But I non't think that they will allow me to wear high heels when I go out to customers. Does annyone have anny experience with this ? Dex.
Firefox Posted May 22, 2002 Posted May 22, 2002 Yes I do, but not in the NL. I work in the UK. I often wear heels with clients, meetings etc etc. Not fetish heels but normal street wear, block heels, cowboy boots, even thinner heels, between 3 to 4 1/2" If you look in my thread you will see typical examples of what I wear at work: http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?topic=341&forum=3&start=0 I take my example from what a woman who liked heels might wear doing a similar job. She would not wear 5" stilettos or 3" paltforms so I dont wear more extreme styles. I still wear much higher heels than most women do as you can see.
Arctic Posted May 23, 2002 Posted May 23, 2002 I don't think block heels up to 9 or so cm should be a problem even at customers. If you have to do heavy negotiations it's a bit different, but if you can wear jeans, you usually can wear reasonable block heels. Defenitely in the Netherlands. Bert What's all the fuss about?
