luxxyheels
I just ordered some shoes from in 13W. One pair of flats and one pair of very stylish pumps with 2 1/2 inch heels. Check them out: The flats: The pumps: I know, the heels on the 2nd pair aren't that high, but that is exactly what I wanted. Most of my shoes are 4-5", and I'm looking to try something a little different. The first pair look like mens shoes, and I was in need of a pair of shoes for work. Shafted
I actually like those pumps despite the heel height. Shafted, the boots that is! Bubba136
I also like both pair you have chosen. The first pair of loafer style shoes are look great with Dockers or jeans. The second pair would look nice with a blazer and dress slacks. No problems with either pair. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public. Dawn HH
Luxxyheels:-) The second pair of heels that you chose look very stylish despite the fact that they only have a 2.5" heel. Do you plan on wearing them outside in public? They are wearing heels with anything these days, so they would look good with either jeans or dress pants, dependng on the outfit and the occasion you would be wearing them for. Mickey has been trying to get me to think about wearing a lower heel, maybe a 2.5" height, but I don't want to give up on my higher heels just yet if I don't have to. They are a very nice looking shoe and I hope you enjoy them and wear them a lot. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
luxxyheels
I do wear them publically when I'm in the mood. I don't know, shoes are shoes when out in public.

Bubba136
Just be patient. I'm sure you will get a lot of wear out of both pair. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Dawn HH
I get a catalog in the mail from Massey's once in a while and they have some very nice shoes with 2.5" heels in there. They would be very comfortable and easy to walk in for street-heeling. Be patient, the flats will come and then you can start breaking them in for work use. luxxyheels
Well they came today, and as goes with all women's shoes, the sizes are different. The pumps fit great, and are comfortable to go out and about in (I did so right when they came ). The flats on the other hand, well, I can't even get my foot in them. I put on my sheerest nylons, and still couldn't. Oh well, at least I got a classy pair of pumps. More about the pumps. While they say 2 1/2", they feel like 3 inch (they may have scaled it up because of size). Have leather uppers, a man made sole, are made in China, but are very well made. Regardless, they are very comfortable, and very easy to walk in, and look great with suntan nylons and a pair of brown slacks. Highly recommended.
