chris100575 Posted November 20, 2004 Share Posted November 20, 2004 Any time a pair needs re-heeling I have metal tips put on, and have had a few pairs of plastic tips changed for metal before they were worn down. To answer your second question, I always have mine re-heeled before they get worn down that far. If you wear the tips right down without replacing them it ruins the heels.
