Geoff (Aus) Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 This pair of 4 inch heels seems to get heaps more compliments from other woman than any other pair of shoes my wife wears. They look great with a pair of jeans, denim skirt or pretty much anything else during the day? Not an evening shoe but quite nice to bum around in!
Firefox Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I'm not very keen on that modern heel shape with the kink in the line. I'm just in the process of modifying some boots to get rid of that kind of shape on them Otherwise, I like the stripey vamp on your wife's pair. Very striking!
jo-jo Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 Very nice and a bit different I would wear them jo-jo xx Don't ask me how I walk in them just try a pair
Melissa Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 Very fashionable to wear to parties now but I guess it it almost same with mules where it might slip out your foot and not really safe when they is a crowded palce.
IHeels Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 Great casual shoe, especially suited to Aus. Inga HEELS are POWER the HIGHER the BETTER.
Highluc Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I like the postion of the instep strap, very elegant. The recessed heel also looks good and has to be very easy to walk on, making such a heel height very comfortable for long walks. Be youself, enjoy any footwear you like and don't care about what others think about it, it's your life, not theirs. Greetings from Laurence
Laurieheels Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 I like them, but that's too much colour in one shoe for my liking. Really good design. Do they come in a style with fewer colours of the rainbow? My dark and brooding style cannot handle all of that colour. Nuh uh no way.
phuonginheels Posted May 6, 2002 Posted May 6, 2002 I love them, i have shoes that are very very similar. They are very pretty
phuonginheels Posted May 6, 2002 Posted May 6, 2002 Laurie, i have a pair of black versace shoes that have the same style.
Laurieheels Posted May 7, 2002 Posted May 7, 2002 Aren't you the lucky one, Phuong. I'll go and be jealous now.
phuonginheels Posted May 8, 2002 Posted May 8, 2002 I'm sure they will still have a similar kind Laurie. They are amazingly comfortable. I paid 100 euros for them in the sales. So the price was not so bad. And they look stylish and glamourous to go to fancy company dinners and so on.
Debbie(HK) Posted May 9, 2002 Posted May 9, 2002 They are lovely Geoff, bet your wife looks great in them Debbie This is a platform free shoe zone!
terayon Posted May 11, 2002 Posted May 11, 2002 i dont like the pointy toe at all, but other than that they are ok
Gizmo Posted May 12, 2002 Posted May 12, 2002 delicate elegant but not for evening as you sad BEAUTIFUL
azraelle Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 I hope no one minds if I resurrect this category... At commencement exercises a couple of weeks ago I saw a very gothy girl dressed (among other things) in these: And low and behold, http://www.alloy.com send me a catalog a few days later, with them inside ($32, size 5-11). I know they're not most of the gals' "cup of tea", but I thought I'd ask anyhow, "What do you think of these?" "All that you can decide, is what to do with the time that is given you."--Gandalf, "Life is not tried, it is merely survived -If you're standing outside the fire."--Garth Brooks
Laurieheels Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 I don't think I should be the first to comment, but oh well, too bad. Did the Bride of Frakenstein's Monster have a garage sale? They seem like they would be for clomping about. Certainly they give a good deal of a height boost. For short goths, maybe. Goths don't wear heels very much. Maybe I am glad I am past that.
Calv Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Summer workshoes for Shockqueen Cant see Laurie in them though They should be pretty stable as they only have an inch or so lift by the looks of things. Very gothy shoes. _________________ Do your own thing. Don't be a victim of conformity. Calv [ This Message was edited by: Calv on 2002-05-27 01:34 ] Do your own thing. DesertHeeler Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 Good for keeping your feet out of the mud, other than that, UGH! Ken
Firefox Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 The platform is too high and they are too clumpy for my liking. I disagree with Laurie about Goth girl style in London though. Many Goth girls wear very high heels and not the same types of shoes either. Anything from clumpies to the thinnest of stilettos. You can see it all on display around Camden market.

But that was the more North American goth trend. Heels wqere a low heeled granny boot style if they were worn. It was all about feeling dead in society and looking the part. Now, Calv wrote: Cant see Laurie in them though Darn straight! Certainly not my style at all!
Calv Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 I thought that would get a response Laurie Do your own thing. Don't be a victim of conformity. Calv
Laurieheels Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 But of course! My personal sense of style is important to me, and I like to bring it up when I can. I tried to be diplomatic earlier, but sometimes, the truth must come out.
loveheel Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 great shoes for replacing light bulbs on the ceiling.
