Adding elastic to knee boots

I have a pair of leather knee boots that are too tight in the calf. Having seen several pairs that have a small elastic panel at the top, I was wondering if it would be possible to have one added? I only need about another inch of room tops. Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to be able to wear them comfortably! Chris

Almost any shoe repar store or leather working shop should be able to do this modification for you.
