kneehighs
I was just browsing Zappos and thought you guys might like these from Franco Sarto, in a U.S. 12! http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/2283045/c/60/g/women/s/15.html These may not really qualify as high heels per se, but for a more shy street heeling guy, they would seem to be the perfect starter. They'd blend perfectly with a suit, or just about anything from a mans wardrobe that is. Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game. Heelfan
It's interesting, Zappos call that style an "Oxford", whereas in the UK, that style of lace-uip with all the perforated decoration is called a "Brogue". Also, it's interesting that Zappos are selling it as a woman's shoe. And yet it it so very, very masculine (despite the slightly high heel). I would have thought that if ten men and ten women went out in public wearing them, you'd get far more onlookers thinking how "butch" and "masculine" they looked on the ladies, than onlookers thinking how "feminine" they looked on the guys! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
dressboots
ditto: heelfan Just goes to show what many have been saying all along. It is OK for women to push the masculine zone in fashion but not for men to push the feminine zone. Try to imagine a manufacturer promoting a pump with low broad heels, designed and marketed for men. classic style high heel boots
