jetheelsfan Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 This seemed to be a day when many of my peers presented themselves for the first time wearing their first heeled shoes. That seemed to be a "right of passage" back in the 1960's. I'm not so sure so many use this time to "dress up" as it was once the custom to present yourself in your newest and finest for the spring and into the warmer months. I was always partial to the white shoes on Easter. Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.
bluejay Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Yes, I did dress up for Easter. It's been a tradition for me, to do so. I like the thought about wearing white heels, but it's a bit early to wear white. Traditionally wearing of white shoes, happens after Memorial Day. Here white shoes would of blended in with the 2" of snow on the ground, yesterday. Happy Easter Happy Heeling, bluejay
jetheelsfan Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Snow - Glad it is over here but yes - white in the snow - well you said it. Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.
