SoleStripper Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 The brand name is Lucious, but I can't find any info on them on the internet. I remember seeing pics on the net years ago and I think they were called "stilted heels" but I'm not sure. Here's some pics - side view, back, front...
Heelster Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Not something Ellie or Pleaser have on their list - - - No clue, but they kinda look a bit dangerous from the stability standpoint.
SoleStripper Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 They're impossible to walk in. I almost fell over just trying to stand in them. I found a few sites that had Lucious shoes but these are off the market apparently.
trickrider1 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I love that style and do own some "Ellie blade shoes" from about six or seven years ago. I can walk in them rather well, but do have unusual balance from gymnastics training so I might not be quite "normal" lol. However, I think these disappeared from the market due to structural strength issues as even the slightest side step can bend the sole unit which I did with mine. Nonetheless, I love the look and style and wish some shoe company would re-introduce them and do their engineering homework to make them durable.
SoleStripper Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 So they're called "blades"? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of selling them and need to know what to list them as.
SoleStripper Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 In case anyone is interested, I finally found out from a rep at Pleaser USA that they're called Glamazon-709 and long discontinued. "Lucious: Sandal with 6.50 inch heel and 3 inch platform." http://howcool.com/product/lucious/PL-GLAMAZON-709
