ulli Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 A rather curious item is being offered on German ebay right now: A handbag whose bottom side is shaped like a platform shoe with high heel. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2874038060&category=23445
Ionic Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 We've seen something similar but not identical in the UK. Anyway now I know the German for "High Heel Lover" LadyBrigette has quite a shop of fetish shoes for auction there doesn't she? Extreme and cheapo; I think mostly intended for horizontal use... /I /I
Skirted-UK Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 HayWay Shoes at, www.haywayshoes.co.uk do one for £39.00. Hell would have to freeze over before I carried one down the main street "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave ! " The Eagles, "Hotel California"
Heelfan Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 What sort of handbag DO you carry down the street then S UK? (tee hee). I love em, because anything that spreads the gospel for bringing high heels to people's attention gets my vote! Mind you, the very best place for heels is still on someone's feet, but I imagine that the sort of people who would by that bag would be wearing heels as well! Cheerfully your, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
BobHH Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 It looks like a real shoe to which the bag is attached.
High_Heeled_Guy Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 i saw something very similar to this when i was in las vegas in january. Beautiful they were. But at a couple of hundred bucks a pop - they were a little out of most peoples price range. Though this was in Ceasers Palace that i saw them.
Trolldeg Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 available from bananashoes as well: http://www.bananashoes.com/en-us/dept_38.html
Betty Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 There is a much nicer version in a red spike heel pump purse at http://www.highheelshoemuseum.com
Firefox Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 I've seen nicer ones on sale in UK too. Since you don't have to wear it, a nice 5 inch heel makes more of a statement than the version pictured.
Heelfan Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 Yes, I agree with Firefox! At least 5" would spark-off the handbag, or why not go the full monty to the magic 6" stiletto? Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
Trolldeg Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 well, a steeper shoe would make a narrower handbag...
Laurieheels Posted December 23, 2003 Posted December 23, 2003 Now, the real question has to be this - is it a rightie or a leftie shoe? And if you break a heel, can you wear your purse in a cinch of a pinch in order to make it to the shoe repair?
JeffM Posted December 23, 2003 Posted December 23, 2003 And surely wearing some high heels with a high heeled handbag would be telling the world " I am addicted to high heels" Jeff
Laurieheels Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 I didn't think I needed a high heeled handbag to have the world figure that out about me, but, sometimes people need a clunk on the head to get the point. Certainly not the people who frequent this forum, though. I suppose being open minded and accepting has something to do with being perceptive. But then, it's just a theory. So does anyone know if the purse's shoe part is a right or left?
JeffM Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 Laurie said I didn't think I needed a high heeled handbag to have the world figure that out about me, but, sometimes people need a clunk on the head to get the point. If we believe what is said here not many of the general public look at feet/shoes of others so wouldnt know that the person is a high heeled addict, but surely if they saw a high heeled hand bag they would look at their feet and say "Ah must have a thing about high heels" And just as surely, the toe bias would be neutral (if that is possible) so that it could be worn on either foot in case of emergency.
