Flat feet: the selection of the right shoe ?

i'm opening this post to share with the community my experience with flat feet (totally flat, if i lay my feet on the floor, the arch is perfectly adhering to the flooring, and even from above you see the inside of the foot widing)

the problem is amplified by the fact that I have size 44-45 EU,

i think equivalente to 10,5 - 11 UK and 13 - 13,5 W USA

(i've bought some shoes US 12 and are same size as UE 43, too small )

my first experience (if i'm not wrong) was with this pair of shoes, bought from italianheels.com....

(first error: i choose size 43 instead of 44)

the heel is a little less than 5", even if the sandal doesn't seem to be so high...

well, for me is impossible to walk more than some step...

the foot has no support and the sole is too soft and without any clearance from the ground, and the sole of the foot is twisting....

soon I'll post some other photos of my shoes and considerations about them

any one has same problems ?

the next pair is from Rimba (can't remember where bougth)

http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=735&pictureid=7659

this time i choose size 44, that is a better size...

but, i don't know why, this model has a very large peep toe !

as you can see in picture i was obliged to add suede thicknesses in the peep....

this model is 6" with 2" of platform

even if is quite easy to walk, this model has the opposite problem of the previous one: the sole is extra rigid, so the foot can't really find comfort while walking...

after some minutes it tends to sore the feet....

the third pair was this one (plaser)

http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=735&pictureid=7658

5" height with 1" platform

this pair is extremely simple to walk in

they can even be used to run, you do not even notice you aren't wearing running shoes...

the highlights of this pair of sandals are the straps on the ankles (which help to keep your foot firmly in the shoe) and a generous tip that contains the foot.

unfortunately the style is datated and the are a bit small.

now boots !!!

like the previous pair are Plaser boots

what is really difficult to understand is why peep toe sandal size 12 il only a bit small and the same size of a boot is extremely small ?

anyway, those boots are 4,5" with no platform but are incredibly simple to walk in !

if only they were not so small they wold be a perfect partner for walking all the day....

the fact that the boot is closed, unlike the first pair of shoes makes a total difference in my ability to walk
