glover Posted September 8, 2011 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Hi, I'm new to this forum and am looking for info on how to help my wife get narrow high heels. I love high heels in case you didn't know and my wife has a love hate relationship with them because of her narrow feet. 9n is really to wide for her. She really likes heels in the 5" ht range but rarely can find anything cute in other than medium. Id really like to surprise her with good narrow cute high heels. I have recently thought about how to really narrow Her existing shoes. We have already tried various inserts Dr Scholes etc. but they take away from the height and not the width. I know this thread might belong somewhere else on this site but I thought I'd get this question out there. (Maybe you did and they don't offer any shoes pretty enough ?) They sell shoes narrower and wider than the standard "B" width. Did your wife tried high heel shoes from Aldo ? I find most closed shoes (pumps) from Aldo to be very narrow. Give it a try ? About how to narrow her existing shoes, I don't know if it is possible or not but you may want to ask the question in another section of this forum here. Good luck ! As a avid wearer of Frederick's though I can't confirm this as I am a medium width on a woman's shoe and they fit great. Shafted, the boots that is! Dr. Shoe Posted September 9, 2011 Share Posted September 9, 2011 The only way to alter the size of a shoe is to stretch it.If you want to make them smaller then I'm afraid you're out of luck. There are stores specialising in narrow fittings and some designers such as Louboutin offer a made to measure service.
