My 2nd trip to a Liverpool Market Shop after my first purchase proved very popular. My first visit I tried a couple of pairs of ankle boots on. Size 8ish is borderline but I often find the larger sizes that fit well. Second visit I had been out for quite a walk and had thick socks on so trying on wasn't a practical option. The staff recognised me and said I was welcome to try anything I wanted and was very welcome. Despite declining this time they gave me a £5 discount. Very nice staff of various cultural/ethnic backgrounds. Will definitely be back there again in another couple of months. Shopping with encouragement - can't be bad.

They want the sale. All shoe shops will let you try them on.

I agree but it is unusual getting such encouragement though.

If you do purchase something there, I'll bet they really treat you like a VIP. Hopefully you will find something there that you like and in your size.

I was amazed at the welcome I got there. Does make going back there much, much easier.

Found something I liked both times, fortunately.
