duder50 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Hi All, Just joined the forum, and I thought I'd share a story of a sighting today... Whilst cycling home, I stopped at red lights near London Bridge. A lady crossed in front of me wearing a lovely, tight fitting dark blue and cream 1940's dress, complete with hat and grey french heeled nylons and 4 inch navy heels. I pushed my bike alongside her and told her I thought her outfit was stunning. She smiled and thanked me and that was that. Lovely to see 1940-50's fashions. I know it was a dark era what with the WWII, but I can't help but think how good it would have been to have lived in that time.
