"Steam straight in and ask to see peoples photos" We dont allow new members to view the galleries at all until they have been here a while, and actually take the time to get to know people, and for others to get to know them... This is a social community, no different to walking into a bar and you asking to see complete strangers photo's that they only want to share with friends.... Its also done like this to stop people joining just so they can view the galleries and contribute nothing in return, not even so much as an introduction. So, if you joined just for the sole pupose of viewing the galleries only, then your in the wrong place... Friendship is a 2 way street, not "walk up to strangers and demand they show you their pictures..." It weeds out those who think they can join just to view the galleries, from those who genuinely join to take part and make new friends, and share a common interest. This has of course been covered in the welcome email you were sent, and the introductory PM sent to you when you joined, but you didnt read those it seems? Not trying to be rude, just fed up with people asking this exact same question, over and over again, who seem to "want want want", with zero "give give give", and dont even take the time to have a look around and read whats already here.
