Hello everybody! I'm new here...so I want to share with you pics of my first pair of heels which are ankle boots with a 3" block heel. I just love the feeling of wearing high heels...I'm training now at home to be confident wearing this great shoes! I'am a boot lover and I think I will be fastly addicted wearing heels (I practice everyday at home...and its hard to take them off!:)). My dream is to have some knee-high boots with 4 inches stiletto heel...

They look like a comfortable pair to walk in. That should make it even easier to go heeling in public.

Yes they are very comfortable...I can't imagine before buying them that i'm be able wearing heels!I enjoy every moment wearing them around the house!I'm in them now and I can say that they are as comfortable as a pair of sneakers, but with an incredible stunning looks!!

Great photos. If you don't want as much heel to show when you walk, you might consider a boot cut pair of jeans. Combined with a slightly longer pants length, you could make the shoes almost invisible. If you're self-conscious about being seen in heels, this can go a long want towards eliminating that.

I think if you have any reservations about wearing women's shoes in public, that look should eliminate it. At quick glance few if any people would think you're wearing anything other than a black leather shoe. Some people would just go out heeling, 'heels blazing', not caring about what the public thinks of them (some might actually do it intentionally to provoke comments). I'm on the other end of the spectrum, I'd prefer that absolutely no one knows what I'm wearing, so long jeans and dark shoes is the way for me. Have you gone out heeling in public? If so where?

I totally agree with you!If one day i wear heels in public I'll hide them with some bootcut jeans!

No I'm not ready heeling in public...!

Anyone can add a comment to my boots?

..do you think I could wear them outside?..

No reason you shouldn't be able to. The 3" heel height should be easy to handle, and the heel base looks to be larger than a typical stiletto heel, providing some extra stabilty. A boot with a chunkier heel would provide even more stability, and not look as feminine, but finding a pair with 3"+ heels isn't that easy.

thanks for your comment jwhite44! Do you think this boots looks feminine if the were cover by a pair of jeans?

If you really love these boots, you might be able to pull it off. However, if you are just interested in finding a pair of boots to out in public with, my suggestion would be to look at some other pairs. When I looked at your pictures again on my higher-res monitor, to me it looked like a black pump with a scrunchie (in the front) leather-like stocking. Being a shiny material doesn't help either.

If you are looking for something a bit more discreet, you might think about something like these (sorry for the ridiculously long links):

Both of them, at from 2"-3" down to the ground (what you should expect will be seen when you're walking), have a pretty consistent appearance. At a distance, there's nothiong obvious with them that someone might think, "Hey, a guy shouldn't be wearing them."

Honestly, they look a bit unisex. I wouldn't give them a second look on a guy...well, a third maybe. But i don't think you'll have any problems wearing something like that out in public...still a far cry from wearing stiletto pumps or similar junk :)

Reading this forum too much...gonna get myself a pair of cowboy boots. Some tall ones...at 5'6, i'd really like some height lol. Less i fall on my ass cuz i don't know how to wear heels..but should be ok with cowboy boots right? :P since the heels should be really wide... i hope

I really think you should wear those out. If they were mine I would start with the jeans on the outside and maybe runs some errands. BTW, where did you buy them and what kind are they? I am a timid heeler myself but I would love to have a pair of those boots to wear. :)

I like them, nice boots to wear out, anywhere!:)

Thanks for your nice comment. In fact it's already hard to wear cowboys boots in public...so stiletto's boots...

I bought them on a french internet shop but it was the last pair! the brand is "Sofia Moda"

They're very comfy! in fact it's my first pair of stiletto!

Peter, Those are nice boots, however, since you are new to streetheeling and I woudln't want your confidence to take a knock, I would save these for a while yet. Its not the height, thats just fine, rather the heel is rather thin and you would need to be very careful of foot placement. A wide heel would be a much better bet so you don't have to be so careful of where you step. Believe me that you still come across problems in a 50mm D shape heel that if you not careful you stumble - its happened to me several times. The spotting of problems underfoot will take time to become second nature so a wide heel will help. The thing people notice is someone moving in an unnatural way and on anything other than a perfect surface, thin heels and being a kind of novice will make them wonder. It will also be a strain on you as well so your walking about will not be either second nature to you or a pleasure. I would suggest you find a pair of 7cm - 10cm heels that have a 25mm D shape minimum and a cuban(ish) style. They are out there if youo look hard enough They look perfect on a man and will give you the confidence to handle high heels. This applies just as much to women as it does to men as a woman who can't walk in 10cm stiletto heels, and I have seen many who can't, just looks wrong. Keep on getting out in your heels. Its fun and enjoyable. Simon

Are you confusing me with someone who gives a damn?
