xaphod Posted April 4, 2003 Posted April 4, 2003 This is a wierd one. My usual block boots.... have started to give me blisters on the top of my big toe. The heel fitting is still firm, the sole is worn but serviceable and the heel tip has been re-inforced using 'Segs' (proprietry metal tips), but what is giving me the blister is the internal lining which has worn through next to the internal toe cap .... DAMN DAMN DAMN
Dr. Shoe Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 The technical term is a toe-puff. I hate to say it Xa, but there's nothing that can be done other than wearing socks with reinforced toes. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
