joeshoething Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Does anyone know how to stretch the straps on a pair of heels. The length and witdh of the shoes fit great, the straps are just a little too tight and there are no buckles or elastic or any kind of adjustment.
Bubba136 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 If I were you I'd take them to a good shoe repair shop and ask the cobbler to sew a short piece of matching leather into the straps to extend the length a bit. Perhaps the cobbler might even suggest that a piece of elastic be sewn instead. But, it can be done. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
FXHH Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 often have the same problem, shoe length is right however the straps stop it from fitting properly what does work is walking them at home for a while till they stretch a bit and fit well thats how my favorite pair fits best now
