Jules Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Did anyone see the magnificent Stacey in Eastenders tonight ? She was wearing a spellbinding pair of boots that looked far too expensive to be in keeping with her character as a market stall holder. My television is not the finest when it comes to picture but I would have said Laboutins or nearabouts. Hope the expert Roz was watching.
Dr. Shoe Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yes. If you are about, take a look at Wordplay on Channel 5 at lunch times... Jenny Powell is losing her looks big time but she always wears the most magnificent heels! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Dr. Shoe Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I haven't seen her in them on Wordplay yet! It was Jenny Faulkener today (they seem to take it in turns) and she's even sexier! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Jules Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 Ah, heels on the television, must have been covered but forgive me ,I'm new to this. Suzie on the Gadget Show,,,,actiion girl in heels, and she's a motorcyclist! Then there's Amanda on I Own Britains Best Home, How many pristine wood floors have the programme makers had to replace? And finally not forgetting Riz Lateef on BBC London news, she must know she's toying with us, little flash of heel, ah white ones today, behind the desk again, oh no, another glimpse, no behind the desk again. What a tease, makes it hard to concentrate on the news that's for shure.
heels4tw Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Riz Lateef I totally agree with, she is such a tease with shoes, or perhaps she's perfectly innocent and it's the guy running the show teasing us... I'll get a screen grab of last nights Eastenders once it's available from non-iPlayer sources.
Jules Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 Re Riz I think she knows only too well but maybe that's my fantasy, but it's certainly public service broadcasting ! I missed out the most important television high heels of all though in my last missive and the owner of those has to be Claudia Winkleman, "Strictly Splendid"
heels4tw Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Here's some screen caps from Eastenders: http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-11845.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-11970.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-12037.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-12123.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-12177.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-12387.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-14919.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-15161.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-15220.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-16930.png http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n21/heels4tw/vlcsnap-16986.png
jo Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Red soles? Probably made by Christian Louboutin. Jules Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 Thanks for the research Jo. I wonder how the continuity people at Eastenders are going to explain that away. I'm glad I was'nt hallucinating though. Maybe they could write a plot-line where Mo Slater gets into a source of dodgy oriental knock-off stilettos from her fence Jimmy the "shoe"and gets Stacey to sell them on her stall. Stacey can't resist the merchandise and we get treated to a different pair every episode untill trading standards bust the pair of them. I really must get a life!
Dr. Shoe Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 There's a guy selling Laboutines at the sunday market at Dagenham for £75 a pair... Perhaps it was an "in joke" or the prelude to a storyline involving knock off gear... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
benno Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 It's Louboutin. Laboutines sound like cigarettes for the French working class. I always wanted to open a designer shoe knockoff shop called Choo Express!
