Beigeboots Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 About 3 years ago I used to be part of a judo club and we went out for a Christmas/end of year party. I was seated at a table with a slighty older woman who use to be a punk rocker in the 70's/80's. As the evening went on I said I was off for a cigarette and she and a few others said they would join me. I got outside before she did, when she came out the door I noticed she was wearing beautifull boots. Black patent leather, knee high boots with a side zip, 4 or 4.5" stiletto heels in about size 5 or 6. I complimented her on her boots. We discussed her boots for a bit before she told me she also had thigh high boots and had thought about wearing them to the party but decided not too. I was really embarrassed when she caught me staring at her boots a few times during the rest of the evening. I think she must have seen my face go red because she started giggling, but not in a mean way. In the new year, once the club had started again, she came over to me and started discussing her boots with me again, in a casual, relaxed manner. She basically said she remembered how much I seemed to like her boots, she told me she bought her boots out a catalogue, they came in black/red/white and blue, that they sold them in larger sizes too, and then asked me if I would like her to order me a pair!! Even though I badly wanted to say "yes, please, I would love a pair of boots", I tried to play it down and said guys don't wear high heeled boots but she told me she knew a number of guys who liked wearing high heeled boots and shoes. She also said I had nice legs and that they would look great in a pair of boots. What a great compliment from a woman, even if it does make me sound a bit effemminate. Back then, I still wasn't at all comfortable with my interest in women's boots. I still thought I was like the only guy who had this interest and that I was weird. (Thanks HHPlace, not anymore) I tried to be cool and cocky so I asked her if they sold boots in a size 10, trying to emphasize my maleness. She said "Size 10? err, no, they don't sell them that big" Then a sympathetic "sorry pet". I could tell she was being sincere and had try to help me and she didn't treat me like I was weird or less of a man. I was being an idiot and trying to be macho. Funnily though, I didn't think I had been obvious about my interest in her boots but apparently I had been. She could see right through me! Not really surprising , I guess, when woman are well know for their love of shoes and boots. How nice of a woman to offer to get me a pair of boots though and to tell me I'd suit them! I know some of you are lucky enough to have wives and girlfriends who do this for you, but this is special to me because I didn't even know her all that well. Anybody got a similar story?
thedesigner Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Wonderful story, bet you couldn't believe how it developed ! I,ve found that although blokes are anti, many women appreciate the style and welcome the fact that heelwearers have a gentler attitude, especially if they've had a hard time in their life.
Bootking Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Remarkable story - have you since looked her up - mutual interests? It's all about the heel!
