  1. It's obvious that that guy is not a cowboy, or someone in a rural setting. Having done both, ie rode in rodeo professionally, and worked on and owned a cattle and grain ranch out west. Cowboy boots are a nesscessity, not a luxury. It is really difficult to ride a horse while wearing sneakers, and it is even more difficult to get traction in mud, or uneven ground in anything else. Most western farmers ranchers and cowboys do wear western boots, and wouldn't wear anything else.

  2. Yes try payless, some locations, espically in larger metro areas do carry size 13. Another good place to try is nordstrom rack, if there is one in your area. I am lucky to live only a few miles from the mall of america so I can go there. Also if there is a marshall fields or macys in your area they do carry larger sizes, but you must ask for them. Good luck.

  3. I have worn my heels outside for many years, now that there is snow on the ground, I will be wearing my 4" heeled boots with chunky vibram soles much more. I will also wear my pumps (4.5-5") but with chunkier heels. I won't be wearing my spike and stilletto heels outside untill spring.

  4. I have had cowboy boots off and on for many years. My first pair of cowboy boots was custom made for me with 4" cowboy heels. I went back to that boot maker many times and requested many unique styles and heel heights. He gladly made them for me as I paid cash for them and always gave him a "bonus". I have not bought boots from him for some time now, but if I went back to him, I am sure that he would remember me.

  5. When I started wearing heels, I hid them by putting them back in the box and putting the box back on the shelf in my clothes closet. :D As I grew older and bolder, I did not hide them anymore, as my mom and family had seen them by then, and I was out of the closet so to speak. My mom and family even encouraged me to wear them!!! :-? I have not hidden my shoes and boots since the age of 14. Highheels forever, ward

  6. Well, I do occasonally watch porn, but finding movies that appeal to me is getting difficult. As for profanity I agree with most all of you, it has no place in civilised conversation. I tend to use alternate words such as , darn, drat, rats etc. After raising 3 girls (trying) my temper has cooled down quite a lot. There are times when nothing goes right in the shop and I find a place where there is no one else and let go. It does help relieve the stressful situation. But, in public that language has no place. Highheels forever, ward

  7. Halloween was so much fun this year. I went as trojan man this year, and I had a blast!!!! My outfit was a rubber longsleeve t shirt, long black rubbergloves, rubber openfaced hood, condom hat, black shiney PVC jeans and red patent babydoll shoes with 6" heels. I took 2nd place in both costume contests that I entered. Both were $50 bar tabs, they came in handy to pay off the night.

  8. Dress codes serve to keep every one looking professional. I work in a mechanic shop, so jeans and work boots are the norm. I do not want to wear high heels here, as there are too many saftey hazards here. If you work in an office envriment, where every body works in cubicles all day, you can probably wear heels and no one would care. When I was in high school, the school adminastration had a policy in place that males could not wear shorts to school. This was in southern california in the late '70s. Many of my friends and I went out and bought skirts, they were about 18" to 20" long, about 1/2 way down to our knees. We wore them to school that spring when it got warm, late april early may, for three weeks, until the school board met. The school board changed the rules, letting guys wear shorts when the weather warrented. 625 guys, who show up at the school board meeting in skirts, can't be wrong.

  9. My first high heel experience was my mom. She has always worn high heels for as long as I can remember. I tried my moms high heels at age 5. Mom thought it was "cute" that I was interested in her high heels, so she encouraged me to wear them, thinking that I would get bored with it and give up. For once mom was wrong, I wore 5" heels every daysince the age of 12. All the way through jr high and high school, I wore heels to school every day. I did not get teased much, as no one teases(bullies) a 6' guy who can run faster than most of the track team in 5" high heels. Thats the only reason that I didn't go out for track, they wouldn't let me wear my heels. I have been wearing high heels ever since and I do not have anything lower than 4.5". One excption, the boots that I wear to work have a 3.5" stacked heel. Highheels for ever, ward

  10. OK, I've been postinf for a while, so here goes nothin'. I am 43 years young and have been wearing high heels since my teens. i am 6'4" tall brown hair green/grey eyes weigh @250 lbs. I know that this is not a really pretty picture, but its me. My mom has worn high heels since her teen years, and mom always encouraged me to try new things. As a teen, mom encouraged me, thinking that it was a fad,and that I'd grow out of it. I was buying and wearing high heels and my own clothing at a young age, making my own fashion statement. Moms rule was if you buy it you must wear it, don't let what you buy sit in your closet. In high school I was very active in the mechanic shop and body shop, also in swim club. I am a shop foreman now, living in Minneapolis MN, so I am looking for others to get to know and call friends. I know that I am probably boring someone to death, but there is someone out there that is very excited by this. Some of my favs are ANY car movies, the blues brothers, gone in 60 seconds, bullitt, and I could go on for hours. TV shows are monster garage overhaulin' rides and so on. High heels for ever, ward

  11. Kerridwyn, That was great, now take a deep breath, calm down, and try again. Practise makes perfect, and the easiest way to lose the nervousness is to remember that the click of high heels is loudest to its owner. The other way is to practise walking on the ball of your foot. Good luck and keep the faith, and heels going!! High heels forever, ward
