  1. All this poses the question: How do we establish a more understanding environment, a place where people look past their differences and love, instead of hate. I live in a country that was plagued by racism, and only now, over the past 10 years has their been a strong movement away from that. Still, it is not easy to "love thy neighbour" if you disagree with their culture and all. Sean obviously burst into tears when he was 'caught' because he thought that he wouldn't be accepted. So, how do we live together in harmony?

    I have gay friends and am often uncomfortable around them, but I try to make a point of seeing them as ordinary people. Does this make me homophobic or am I just not used to people with a different sexual outlook than my own?
