  1. Would you call a really butch woman "sir"?

Determining the address for a person in these parts is very simple.

Here in the Dallas Texas area a biological woman who looks feminine is frequently addressed as "sir" and nobody takes offense. In fact, the address "ma'am" is not used much.

For both genders the terms "hon" or "sweetie" are used by women.

So in this area determining the proper address is no problem, except don't use the address "ma'am" unless the person wants to be addressed as a woman. Just use "sir", or if you are a woman, "hon" or "sweetie" and there will be no problems! :)

  2. Different people have different mindsets. Personally, if I were dressed full bore transvestite to pass as a woman in appearance I still would want to be called "sir" and have masculine pronouns used. I also would not want to have a femme name. but continue to use my real name. I just would continue to talk in my somewhat "Joe Friday" [Dragnet] voice and people would pick up onto my preferences. But it is good to have these discussions because while could accept my cross dressing the idea of a biological male identifying as a woman is sort of alien to my thinking.

  3. At this point I do not know the correct answer to this question. I do "try' to keep it from her. She did find me wearing them once but I told her I bought them for her to wear inthe bedroom and they instantly became 'hers' and were kept under the bed.

I simply cannot use that line that my high heeled shoes, skirts, and a dress are for her. She simply would not wear them even if they fit her!
  4. My wife who wears only flat shoes cannot understand why I would want to wear my 4 inch stiletto sandals and why I would want to get more high heel shoes. She will not wear anything higher than 1.5 inches. She also does not wear skirts or dresses - I have several skirts and one dress; I wear them on a regular basis. Once again, she does not understand why I would want to buy more skirts and dresses. She only tolerates my clothing preferences. So we have an interesting reversal of out clothing preferences except her polyester blouses and polyester-rayon-spandex double knit pants are made of materials not used for men's clothing and there is no way I would wear them even if they fit me.

  5. I wear sandals a bit but I find very high sandals cut into my toes too much for long wearing/walking. Women are always interested if I have painted toenails.

    Cheers

    Heel-Lover

You're lucky women notice you. I can wear women's sandals with painted toenails, while wearing a skirt, and I don't get much attention at all here in the Dallas, Texas USA area.

  6. Hi everyone! :)

Up to now i only own one pair, but i'm looking for a at least a second one now. I'd like to wear them more casual to fit to jeans. What i had in mind was to buy a pair to match to slim/skinny fit jeans. Here is an example of one jean i got recently -> http://img823.imageshack.us/i/whatfitstothosejeans.jpg/. As i'm quite slim (jeans size 29-30) the fit is not like the pic on the left, but more like those on the right. My thought was to buy a pair of ankle boots/booties as those are not so :) ... this guy is wearing HHs, but rather androgynous.

    This for now. Cheers. Dante

The first thing that comes to my mind as a skirt-wearer is that the male genitals are going to really be squeezed given the extremely close fit in the crotch that the pants have.
  7. Happy - thanks for the advice & tips - I'll check out roniheels' posts for more info.

At this point I doubt that I could go out wearing pumps in public, even under a pair of jeans. I'm not even sure that my GF would be into that, but if we're ever shopping for shoes for her, and she gives me the typical female challenge to try heels (she's done it before) I'll say "sure" & see if she likes the idea. But I think that for now I'll keep the pumps at home. I could probably get away with the right pair of women's clogs or ankle-high boots with a 3" heel, as long as the front part of the shoe doesn't look too girly. Just have to get some jeans with slightly longer legs to cover some of the heel.

Get the guts to wear a skirt and heels at the same time! I haven't bought pumps yet but I have worn wedge heel sandals with a skirt while I was going to a salon to get my hair styled. As Martin Luther said, "Sin boldly"
  8. I have the following pairs of men's shoes (I have some others that I don't wear often): Boat shoes - almost non-existent heel Really bad for walking! Earth Shoe sandals (bought in the 1970} - dead flat! More uncomfortable to wear and walk in than my 4 inch stiletto sandals! black Propet sandals - almost as bad as the Earth Shoe sandals Hiking boots Slip on men's dress shoes Lace up men's dress shoes I have to have dress men's shoes for church. They do have heels high enough for my comfort. I will NEVER buy another pair of men's sandals. They are heavy, clunky and dead flat! What I like about women's sandals is that they are light and not dead flat.

  9. A little too girlie for my taste.

I say they are way too girlie for my taste. Definitely not my glass of whiskey (instead of cup of tea). Any type of heels that I wear would have to be black, navy, brown, or a plain red. To each his own.

  10. So we chatted on her asking me about where i buy my clothes and shoes and where i wear them & do wear them in front of my family & she also told me that she had looked up cross dressers on the internet and that she had told her daughter that she was going on a date with a cross dresser and her friend Marie who i'd met last week at the same time as Kriss had told her partner about me And he was giving her a hard time about going out with a guy wearing womens clothes & that it was wrong it was just wrong.. From what i could understand from more discussig it with her that this guy is definatly from the neandethol era and that also combined with a good splash of red neck .

    cheers for now malinheels :)

Kris got her mind infected by that troglodyte.

This is the tripe that I have to put with whenever I wear a skirt (which is almost all the time) from certain individuals. I was even threatened with bodily harm when I stepped on a driveway of a supposed friend to greet him while he was in the garage. He came out of the garage, and went into the alley via his driveway, while uttering at the top of his voice threats and foul language. He disturbed the peace so much that a police squad car appeared after I left the scene. I felt sorry for his wife and children after he made a real jerk out of himself.

Maybe after awhile Kris will reconsider, and you say you can see her at the local supermarket.

  11. Hello there fellow high heel wearers

now i met Kris while wearing my skirt and high heels so that is how i decided that i was going to go on the date, why should i dress differently. I wore a wool black skirt just past the knee length with red botton shirt and my black blaser with skin toned panty hose & my imitation snake skin hidden platform stelleto heels in red tones with red hand bag to match . I thought i looked great!

    :)

You're a brave man. If I were to wear what I interpret as a skirt suit I would have worn a white shirt with a tie, black or navy stiletto heels, dark panty hose, and and a black shoulder purse. I would still wear the black blazer and skirt. That way you would not have stood out so much as someone trying to look somewhat like a woman. Rather you would have stood out more as a man who is a free-styler.

But, to each his own. The world would be a dull place if everybody dressed the same!

  12. . And having breasts and broad vocal scale [from basso profondo to soprano] might be great :)

My wife teases me about the breasts I have! So you might not want them.

Having a voice range of basso profondo to soprano is virtually impossible. I have a basso profondo voice, and thus I cannot sing in the falsetto register very well. It is fun to be able to sing down to Bb below the bass staff and project D below the bass staff loudly. However, when I can't sing the bass part and have to sing the melody (male register of course) it can get mighty high for my voice

  13. One negative comment was another Halloween night at the states in Texas, i decided to go dressed as a witch with all black gown and messy black wig etc, i went out from my hotel and decided to walk all the way to down town on my high heels, a truck approach and some teens shouted " freak" i just throw them a stone to their car and impacted with huge noise they stopped and reconsider to came back i started to shout at them and raising a finger etc, they left with the noisy tire sound. f**em!

You are lucky they did not come back and attack you. As JeffB says you need to ignore negative comments.

  14. Here in the Dallas, Texas area it is quite warm - highs in the upper 30s deg C (upper 90s deg F). So I favor sandals. I got a pair of 10 cm (4 inch) stilleto sandals

For me 4 inch heels are rather high. I have to get used to that height. However, the sandals are really comfortable. I was worried that the sandals would not fit my feet (9 mens or 11 womens, width D) but they fit my feel like a glove.

The color I selected is black.

I have gotten used to the 4 inch heels in only two days. I have no problems bending down and picking things off the floor or getting up from a kneeling position (Remember the movie "The Proposal" where the lady had a hard time getting up after kneeling while wearing her heels?)

Of the 5 sandals I find most comfortable are woman's sandals with 1 3/4 inch heels and a 1/2 inch platform. Those are the shoes I wear most frequently and since the heel is broad there are no issues of wear. Second are the 2 3/4 inch wedge heel sandals. Then the third most comfortable are the new 4 inch stillettos. Then comes my Propet men's sandals that is almost dead flat. Dead last are my Earth Shoes sandals I purchased in the 1970's that are heavy and completely dead flat. I do NOT like dead flat shoes.

It's unfortunate that the male shoe industry has neglected to add heel options to their shoes, even though men can handle heels at least as well as women.

  15. Anyway, I'll just say when I was 18, I wish I would have had the nuts to go out in a dress back then (well, I did for one Halloween when I was a teen), because I had a pretty damn good body back then,

I dare say that when you were young, as when I was, skirts and dresses were a normal everyday attire for girls and women. Now they are not, so it is only slightly more unusual for a man to wear a skirt or dress publicly than it is for a woman. I can get by wearing denim skirts all the time publicly, but that would not have been possible when we were young.

  16. Fully agree... it may have come across a bit harsh, but sometimes the honest opinion is the best option. When I opened the picture, I was... umm...

Anyway, I'll just say when I was 18, I wish I would have had the nuts to go out in a dress back then (well, I did for one Halloween when I was a teen), because I had a pretty damn good body back then, and now years later, I know I dont have one anymore. I struggle to keep myself from plowing through into 200+ territory and hover just under that. As a result, even though I sometimes think to myself, it could be a lot of fun to try to do that today, I wouldnt dare, as it would scare the public and make myself look like an ugly giant pear wearing a muumuu. Just saying, be realistic, thats all...

hhboots, you have a much gentler way of expressing your opinion than Tech. In addition to getting down to 175 lbs I need to add elastic below the existing waist elastic to accommodate the lower waistline of a man.

I urge you fellow readers not to jump all over Tech.

  17. No offence John, but that is definately not a good look. A Dress only really looks good if you have the figure to get away with it, something most men do not have. Dresses are designed around the female shape, so when a man wears one, it just looks like a tatty bed-sheet hanging from his shoulders...

Where that dress is designed to curve inwards (In the middle) most men curve outwards... Wear what you like by all means, but choose something that matches your figure and compliments it, not makes it look worse...

I'm sure lots of people here may all jump on me for being honest, and may even chime in telling you "the dress looks good", but I'd doubt many here could say "it looks good on you" or "You look good in it"... Sadly, in my opinion, it doesnt, and you dont....

ok, I'll go take cover now for the bashing I'm probably about to get for offering up an honest opinion...

On a related note, how/why has the thread about SQ's heels turned into somebody else's dress wearing?

I will admit that I need to lose about 33 lbs so that my waist will begin to curve inwards again, as it was when I was young. Maybe I will have the incentive to lose the excess weight. My peak weight was about 240 lbs and now I am at 208. I need to go down to 175 lbs.

About discussing dresses - recall ShockQueen was relating about how he wore feminine clothing, but no skirts or dresses. I was simply thinking about alternative clothing.

  18. I often wear the jersey dress shown on the model when when I go on my night walks, frequently with my wife, who wears only pants and flat shoes. Sometimes I wear wedge sandals with it. I weigh 208 lbs, and I am 5' 10" tall. The large size fits me perfectly. I just cannot see myself wearing any women's pants given that I hate to wear pants in general. If I am going to wear a woman's bottom garment, it will certainly be a skirt. As I have said before, I hate having the wedge of cloth against my privates........... EDITED.........

And now, I dare say that you are curious about how I look in the dress. Now I did not wear high heels when I modeled the dress. You can see me taking my picture with the webcam using the mouse.
