  1. Hi everyone, I am just catching up on my messages. Megan, I noticed that you recently tried 300 denier pantyhose with socks and slouch boots. Doesn't that combination make you feel so well protected, warm and comfortable? After you get used to that, do you have a problem of not wanting to take it off when you get home and need to take a shower?

  2. Hi everyone,

I am currently in Quebec, a place where French is very dominant. I haven't had a chance to reply to any messages because I couldn't figure out how to use the French Windows based computer terminals at my hotel, in the library or the public access station here at the hospital research center. LOL I feel like such a klutz once I am using a non-German or non-English computer.

Megan, that is interesting to see that your daughter is a saxophonist. Do you attend her performances? Watching her perform would be a great excuse to get all dressed up in your nicest clothes as well ....... My jam session was a blast! I wore a tube top with leather mini, glossy suntan pantyhose and a pair of jet black boots with a 3" stiletto heel, one of the very rare times I wear stiletto heels, unlike the incredible Sangue who can go everywhere in them.

Sangue, what is your college campus like? Do you have to walk outdoors, in between buildings a lot? Are the paths between buildings paved or is it rugged terrain? ..... Your sense of balance must be incredible to do college in stilettos, I am so impressed! I can see why you would not need padding inside your heels as you seem like such a natural in heels. You said you are gravitating towards trying a pair of block heels to make it easier for walking on campus, what kind of block heels are you looking at?

Sangue, those Colin Stuart fur lined boots with hidden platform look GORGEOUS! Thank you so much for showing them to me, I'm going to go to the local Victoria Secret Store (If I can find one here in Quebec) to purchase a pair, I like them that much!

Sangue, as to your question of which one would I pick for your soaking, would these be the kind you like? Vivid colours and a comfortable cork bottom with the stiletto heel that you favour?

    Heidi

  3. Hi everyone, Sharon, I really like style #4 with the gold button. It looks classy. Do any of them have a warm lining inside? Do they have treads at the bottom for walking on slippery smooth surfaces like office buildings? Are these the styles you wear for work or do you wear other styles for work? Sorry for so many questions Sharon, I am curious! LOL I ran into some band members who performed last night at the snowboard resort. They are doing one last performance in the early evening before most people leave the resort to go back to work tomorrow. The group performs famous songs by other singers. I told them I sing as well. I sang a song for them at lunch time, and they loved it. They are going to let me jam with them for their evening performance!!! I am going to wear a low cut tube top with a leather mini. What colour pantyhose and boots should I wear? Suggestions? ...... I have my travel wardrobe with me so I do have choices. Heidi who is going to perform later on today

  4. Hi everyone, I am spending the weekend at a winter snowboarding resort in Vermont with a 900 meter verticle drop and I've got to say, this is a huge adrenaline rush! Here at Killington, we snowboard during daylight and at night, they play a mix of rock, trance and electronic dance music as we dance the night away. After blasting down snowy slopes all day and dancing in high heel boots all night, muscles are aching and demanding to be pampered. The resort has a series of hot tub whirlpool jacuzzis in the cottages where people stay overnight. I can just imagine if Sharon, Megan, Sangue or Jane were here, you would probably TRULY take advantage of the hot tub whirlpools with your heels on! Sangue, I like how logical you are when it comes to purchasing heels. You look for specifics, where as I just look for padding, some treads on the sole for grip and after that, it is whichever style I happen to fancy that day. Totally impromptu sometimes! What sort of styles of heels have you been purchasing lately? Are you looking to try the block heel boots which tend to be more stable than stilettos? Megan, I am so glad you got your heat back! You really are one tough girl to handle such cold. It is almost like camping, at home hahaha Megan, regarding winter parties, where there is snow, I too see girls wearing stiletto sandals in the snow. We were at a dance party here at the ski and snowboard resort and there is snow everywhere outside. After snowboarding or skiing during daylight, people go back to their cottages and change into their party dresses before walking over to the party venue. At the party area, about ⅔ of the girls are wearing boots and about ⅓ are wearing high heel sandals. Sangue, what method do you use for cleaning salt off your heels in the winter time? Heidi in the United States

  5. Hi everyone, I am glad to hear that the European members of this list are okay. According to what the television news stated, apparently eastern Europe got hit a LOT harder with the cold front versus eastern Europe. Megan, only +8C at home?! Ouch, are you okay? How are you hoping with that? .......... The heat at my place went out one winter and it dipped to a similar temperature indoors. I remember, I would boil hot water and make hot beverages like mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, apple cinnamon tea, earl grey tea or fragrant tea. The hot beverages would warm up the inside of me. Prior to bed, I would take a really hot shower to warm up the outside of me before quickly towelling off, while the bathroom is still warm from hot water vapour, quickly throwing on my PJs and jumping into bed under two covers. hahaha Megan, the pleated wool skirt, a thin sweater, a thick roll neck sweater, big scarf, my duffel coat, knitted beret, three pairs of opaques, one pair of knee lengthed with one pair of striped socks and cowboy boots sounds like a very interesting outfit, very warm too. I think berets make a super cute fashion statement! How did you like wearing 3 pairs of tights, 2 pairs of socks inside your cowgirl boots? Did the padding make wearing 2" heels that much less painful and make it feel more like you are walking on a cloud with all that padding? Heidi

  6. Hi everyone, First off, I heard about the deep freeze in Europe on the news with temperatures plummeting to dangerous lows and I want to ask everyone in Europe - Sharon, Jane, Megan - Are you ok? Sangue, I never knew you are also in the field of life sciences! Since you are studying to be a doctor, you know that females in your field tend to wear a variety of footwear for their profession. An closed toe, often times sport shoe in the lab or in surgery, high heels for patient consultation and presentations and lab booties which go over your footwear when in surgery. Do the medical residents get a locker at the hospital they practice at to keep their clothing and shoes? ........ Speaking of closed to shoes, at the lab I am working at today, I sure feel out of place. We all are wearing white lab coats but I paired mine with a pair of knee high leather boots with a 3" heel. A lot of the other girls here are wearing their lab coats with Crocs or Converse. Heidi

  7. Hi everyone, Megan, guys may think that girls look better without clothes on but I totally agree with your analogy with a Christmas gift. When wrapped, their is mystery which invokes the human emotion of curiosity which leads to the human emotion of desire, the desire to find out and discover what lays underneath  Megan, regarding travel, have you ever considered travelling back to all those places with your daughter, together? Sangue, the German word for love is 'liebe' and it is commonly associated with an emotion for someone. When you have a strong liking for an object, like a hand bag, a pair of heels, earrings, the commonly used word is 'mag', as in 'ich mag <object>' ....... The white pantyhose with black fishnets sounds like an aggressive, fun party look! Did you get a lot of fun comments from your friends? ....... I have never tried knit leggings before, has anyone else? I worked in the very warm lab again today spent the majority of the day wearing a thin white blouse, black skirt, one pair of pantyhose and a pair of suede pull up knee high boots with 2" heel. When I I left the lab, I threw on a thick cardigan over my blouse, I made sure no one was looking, removed my suede boots, added a second pair of pantyhose, put on a pair of thick socks and put on my fur lined knee high boots before going back to my hotel. Tomorrow, I think I will stick with dual layer pantyhose, wool socks and fur lined leather boots in the hot lab, strange as it may sound, I felt naked without them on! Heidi

  8. Hi everyone, I think we are currently at a record for the most people active in this thread at once. Yay! Sangue, I am very impressed. You truly are able to handle the cold, wearing slingbacks in the snow! Do you ever wear aerobic shoes to work and change into your slingbacks at the office? ...... Regarding new boots, everyone looks for something different. I am not sure what your personal preferences are. I myself love leather knee high boots with a thick fur lining inside for extra warmth. Leather or synthetic leather is easy to clean with a wet cloth to get all the salt or sand off to prevent the leather from getting damaged. Suede is very hard to clean. For foul, slippery winter weather, I try to find boots with a rubber sole, deep treads and a block heel. I also purchase my boots one size larger than what I actually need so I can have space for extra socks and thick pantyhose. I take it you just want to purchase something true to size, correct? What kind of boots have you been looking at? What styles excite you? What heel heights and what shaft heights do you like? Megan, happy Chinese new year to you! The figure hugging maroon jersey dress with black 300 denier opaques with flat calf high boots sound very very cute on you. Do you also find that in the winter time, one does not have to wear clothes that reveal a lot of skin to be sexy, one just has to wear tight clothes that *hint* at what is underneath and that can already get guys hearts to beat incredibly fast? LOL Megan, both you and your daughter sound like adventurous people. Do you two travel a lot together? Heidi

  9. Hi everyone, I too love wearing two or more pairs of pantyhose, with each one a different colour. I once wore three pairs, the inner most was black, the middle layer was white and the outer most was skin tone. I paired that with a nifty mid-thigh black leather skirt and knee high black leather boots with a 3" heel. At the party that evening, a lot of people were staring at my legs trying to figure out what colour my pantyhose was! hahaha Good luck with exams Jane, hope to hear from you more when you aren't as busy studying. Megan, if those are high denier pantyhose and thick socks you have inside your cowgirl boots with the 2" heel, try walking around in them. Doesn't the extra padding make walking in heels a lot more comfortable? Megan, you have even travelled to Mexico, as well as USA & Canada. You really have seen a lot of North America! Did you travel to other parts of central America like Guatemala, Honduras, Panama as well? ......... I agree with you, the fashion in western USA is quite different from fashion here in Europe although being in eastern USA, I sure love the brands they have here like Guess, DKNY, Nine West, Juicy Couture, etc. Heidi

  10. LOL Samantha! Now that is definitely doing it differently. I take it your bf was waiting for you at home? I know what you mean by not wanting to take your heels off at home. I am the same way! Even though after a long workday, I have been in my heels for hours, I too love the sound of them against the floor tiles. Also, after wearing high heeled boots at work all day, taking them off makes my feel feel very cold at home so I often times switch to a pair of flat boots, like Uggs at home while saving my high heeled boots for the office or going out.

  11. Hi everyone, Megan, thank you for adding me to your friends list. The cowgirl boots you mentioned with the 2" heel sounds cute. I know that when riding horses, the heel is very useful as it allows you to firmly grip the stirrup, thus all cowgirl boots have a heel of some sort. I am also very surprised that you find wearing heels makes you shorter. In my office, I find usually the shorter people tend to wear really high heels to look tall. Have you ever tried wearing wedge heels? Are those more comfortable for you? ....... You mentioned that the other day, you wore a cute purple polo sweater with cowgirl boots with 2" heels. Did the padding of the socks and pantyhose make the heels a lot more comfortable? Sharon, interesting perspective on the difference of getting wet in cool, warm and hot water. I never thought of that. I noticed that you play in the water in aerobic shoes a lot. Is aerobic shoes the most common footwear for water play for you? Sharon, I know you love the 300 denier or 140 denier pantyhose. Have you ever considered wearing your 300 denier pantyhose which comes in one colour, black and wearing a pair of fun patterned pantyhose over them in any colour of your choice? Sharon, you were the exact person I was thinking of when I was in that hot laboratory! I didn't think you would take off your boots either. hahaha After spending the day wearing two pairs of pantyhose, one pair of wool socks and my knee high leather fur lined dress boots with 3" heel in the hot laboratory, I really got used to super warm calves and ended up sleeping in a pair of fresh pantyhose with wool socks over them that night. Megan, I see that you have travelled extensively through the United States & Canada. You already mentioned New York to the east, New Orleans to the south and Vancouver to the west. I take it you also notice a huge difference in fashion in the Americas? In the trendy areas of major east coast cities like New York, people really really dress up. High heels are very common in places like Wall Street. In the south like New Orleans, everyone seems to dress very casually and flip flops is worn by almost all the women there. I have never been to Vancouver so I can't comment on that city. When you last travelled to North America, did you make any fashion related purchases? Megan, Sharon, I learned something about American culture that is a bit different from European culture. Did you know that Americans remove their footwear once they enter their home? Heidi

  12. Hi everyone, I have internet access again while on the road, so I am happy that I can chat with everyone once more  Megan, I can't say how excited I am to see you here on chatting on this corner of the net with us! You and your bf sound so romantic! Sharing a kiss on your 20th birthday at what was once the world's tallest building is one of those things you remember for a long long time. Did you dress really nicely for that special date? Hanna, you are extremely observant! With a sharp eye like yours, I am sure a lot of fashion magazines would love to have you scoping out what future fashion trends are. What you wrote about me is very accurate, I wear layers of pantyhose & socks inside knee high boots all the time to make walking in high heels more comfortable and less painful. Megan, Hanna, the two of you ask a very interesting question about catfish! The only thing I know about them is that I once saw on a televised cooking show that you can sautee pan fried catfish with lemon, paprika, ground pepper and raspberry jam for a delicious entree. hahaha ...... This brings up an interesting point, has anyone here ever stepped into a body of water where there were fish nearby? Sharon, you wear boots a lot, like me. When you go to work, how long are your skirts? Do they go to the tops of your boots and completely hide the knee or do they show some knee? My business trip to the States has been extended. I will need to do some shopping and laundry here. The extreme climate difference between indoors and outdoors is very drastic here. It feels like 0C (32F) when outdoors but inside this particular lab I am working at, the temperature feels more like +26C (79F)! After entering the lab and working for a little while, I had taken off my suit jacket and sweater. I was just wearing a tank top, suit pencil skirt, two pairs of pantyhose, one pair of wool socks and my knee high leather fur lined dress boots with 3" heel. It got really warm inside my boots. I could not have removed my thick wool socks, or else my fur lined leather high heeled boots would have become loose. Walking in loose boots with a 3" heel is just asking for an accident to happen. Sharon, if it was you, what would you have done in my situation? Megan, you mentioned that you have small feet that don't look good without stockings before wearing pumps. Have you considered wearing high heel boots with pantyhose? Heidi

  13. Hi everyone! I am so excited that Megan has joined the conversation and that Sangue & Jane have returned. I live in Germany but have been on a business trip in the United States thus I don't get regular internet access. I miss all of you guys and the fun conversation we have here  Sharon, thanks for the idea of using a pre-paid sim card in the States. However, I prefer to give a lengthy response instead of just typing "hi, yes, no, ok, good, bye" hahaha as I don't have the patience for typing anything lengthy on a cell phone's tiny screen. I managed to find a public computer at a local library so I can come online catch up. Sangue, thank you so much for giving me the idea of trying 'alpaca wool' socks! The fact that they are luxuriously smooth is something that both my skin as well as my pantyhose would greatly appreciate. The fact that they are super warm as well is another bonus as I love to keep my feet and legs very warm. Do you know if they provide good padding as well? Have you considered trying a pair of alpaca wool socks inside your heels and pantyhose? Megan, Sangui - Interesting idea wearing mesh stockings over solid colour pantyhose! I usually wear two pairs of solid colour pantyhose but wearing a bold colour, such as a white colour fishnet over solid opaque black pantyhose is a very unique look. Sangue, I am curious though, how does your husband react to you wearing layered pantyhose? Or perhaps he can't even tell you are wearing layers if the two colour pantyhose is the same? What about you Megan, can your friends tell when you are wearing two layers of pantyhose? Megan - I hope you get your plumbing fixed so you can at least choose when you want your pantyhose wet and when you want them dry! Sharon - You mentioned that you are wearing 300 denier opaque tights with black knee high boots and a navy blue suit. What colour are your ultra thick opaque tights? When wearing a dark suit with dark boots, do you go for suntan tights, black tights or another colour? As for myself, I did some shopping in small boutiques here in the United States. I bought this creamy white cowlneck sweater which I wore under a black suit jacket, black pencil skirt, two layers of thick suntan pantyhose, two pairs of thick wool socks outside my pantyhose and my black leather knee high boots with 3" heel. Because of all the padding inside my boots, walking in these tall heels is not that uncomfortable although the boots are on so tight, I am not sure how I am going to take them off when I get back to my hotel room tonight. LOL Heidi on a business trip

  14. Hello Sharon, You certainly are talented & athletic, being able to run 2 miles in platform trainers! I know platform trainers are a popular fashion item for walking but you are the first person I know that can run any sort of distance in them. You are athletic and have great balance. I am currently on a business trip to the United States at the moment and will not be able to get regular internet access until I return to Europe. I have brought several pairs of heels and pantyhose abroad and will fill everyone in if anything of significance takes place over here. Heidi on a business trip in America

  15. Hello Sharon, Different fabrics, different wet feel. I can see why you like to change things up a little when playing with water  I like your running outfit. Hoodie with leggings over pantyhose, slouch socks and trainers. What distances do you like to run? ..... I take it this is your winter running outfit, how do you dress when you run in the summer? ..... Is it a big transition, going from high heeled boots to flat trainers and running in the trainers? I should try what you do, it sounds healthier. I wore a sweater dress with double layer pantyhose, thick wool socks and a pair of knee high wedge heel boots to work today. At home, I went for a workout on my treadmill. The proper thing is to change into a pair of trainers but instead, I removed my knee high leather boots. I put on a tank top, shorts and left my double layer pantyhose with socks on. I put on my comfortable moon boots and did my workout on the treadmill in those. LOL Heidi

  16. Hi Sharon,

Thank you for taking the time to give such a detailed and interesting reply!

As for your first question, no, I wouldn't have gone to the ladies' room to change, as I wouldn't have had a spare outfit with me. I would have just continued the evening and gradually dried off (although denim skirts can take a long time, especially at night when there's no sun to help the drying process). My tights would have gradually dried on my legs, but the panties would still have been quite wet, and my feet, and the tights around them, would not have dried, as the boots would have retained some water even after hours of dancing.

That would be quite interesting seeing you dressed so well in wetlook clothing. Would you have at least gone to the restroom and when no one is looking, pull open your pantyhose and use the hand dryer to blowdry your panties first so it won't be wet against your skin? ...... I am also curious, would you have also removed your boots and empty them of any water they were containing first before dancing or would you dance with your boots full of water? ...... Just between you and I, I believe it would have been very interesting to see you dance with your tall leather boots full of water

As for the heel height, when I go out on weekends I generally tend to wear a minimum of 2.5" block or wedge heels, but this can often be anything up to 4", as I feel most comfortable at anything between 2.5 and 4 inches.

I am the same as you! That is the heel height range in which I am most comfortable in as well although you can do it without padding and I use a lot of padding in the form of pantyhose and socks inside my boots. I find wedge heels are easier to walk in due to the fact they have more contact with the ground but of course, block and stiletto heels look better when I want to dress up and look great. When you mention your weekend block or wedge heels, are they courts or do you still prefer knee high boots for the weekends?

As for your other question regarding leather vs fur-lined, I'd have to say, if I'm out partying, I always tend to favour black leather, high-heeled knee-length boots teamed with a decent pair of opaque tights and a short, tight skirt (either a tight little mini pencil skirt or a stretch denim one with fancy detail on the back pockets). When it comes to wearing fur-lined boots such as my tan Uggs or my black Rocket Dogs etc., I tend to wear these when I'm away from work or at home, out shopping etc. I usually wear them with opaque tights, with a pair of classic black cotton and lycra leggings worn over the tights, a fitted tee top and a comfy, baggy hooded top over that. It looks casual, yet nicely girlie, and is very cosy and comfy.

Speaking of fur lined boots, I have two kinds. The kind I wear more is the knee high leather kind with block or wedge heel. These ones are very dress boots, the kind one can wear to the office or to a party. They look the same as regular leather dress boots, the only difference is that they have a warm, comfortable fur lining on the inside for extra padding, comfort and warmth. The other kind of fur lined boots is the Uggs or Rocketdogs which I only wear at home or when I am going out for a very casual function like going grocery shopping. Otherwise, I am almost always in my knee high, dressy, leather, high heeled fur lined boots.

The reasons for wearing tights under the leggings are because, a, it means I don't need to wear any socks, and b, leggings alone at this time of year don't keep the wind off my legs, yet having a pair of thick opaques under them gives me a comfortable second layer and keeps the cold out

The leggings over pantyhose is definitely warm and offers protection against the winter winds! If you try it with two pairs of high denier pantyhose or if you wear socks as well with the combination you mentioned, you can get more padding when you wear high heels, for extra comfort. Of course, perhaps the padding is something you don't need as you seem very good at walking in high heeled boots!

The weather here today is cool, a tad windy with precipitation. I wore a tight cowl neck cream coloured sweater dress to work along with two pairs of suntan pantyhose, two pairs of thick wool socks and a pair of fur lined, dressy, knee high, high heeled boots. I have finished work for a while now and have already finished dinner but I still have my boots on. In order to squeeze two pairs of pantyhose and two pairs of socks into these chocolate brown dress boots, I struggled a bit with the zipper to get it up. Now it seems, the zipper won't come down and I am stuck in these boots, socks and pantyhose! Mind you, I haven't been trying especially hard to remove my boots as I am a bit afraid of the cold air my feet would be exposed to since they are used to the warm, protected environment of my boots. LOL

    Heidi

  17. I agree with UKsensation. Even within the same brand, the comfort level between different models can vary greatly. Like most people here, my high heels collection of primarily knee high boots but the occasional, extremely rarely used pumps, consists of brands like Chinese Laundry, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Cole Haan, Guess, Frye, Naughty Monkey, Fuchs, Nine West, etc all vary in comfort. However, heels by themselves imply a certain level of discomfort as the human appendage was not naturally designed to walk that way. Thus I typically purchase my high heel boots one size larger to accommodate thick socks and/or pantyhose inside for padding and cushioning. Once I have sufficient cushioning hidden inside my boots, most heels become a LOT more comfortable!

  18. Hello Sharon,

As for your party, sounds like good fun. If I had been there, I would certainly have been wearing black leather knee boots as well, along with my 300 denier black tights and most likely a short, tight-fitting stretch denim mini skirt. As for getting rid of any soap bubbles on the boots, I would have been straight in that fountain, sitting down in it up to my waist with legs stretched out under the water, skirt, tights, panties and boots completely soaked and underwater

You are quite the vibrant person! I am certain you would have thoroughly enjoyed the water fountain with that adorable outfit you mentioned. Would you have gone to the ladies room afterwards to change into a dry set of clothes after some fun in the fountain or would you have continued to dance and party in wet panties, wet pantyhose, wet skirt and wet boots? ........ How high a heel would you have worn on your boots to a party like that? Would you go with just leather boots or would you go with a pair of fur lined boots?

As for your boots, Heidi, unless the water went to or above the base of the zip, they won't have let any in, however if you only dipped them in a bit the temperature of the cool water would have cooled the leather down, and in turn would slightly reduce the temperature of your feet.

I know exactly what you mean! I did NOT want to let any water in my boots at all. Getting 2 pairs of wool socks and 2 pairs of pantyhose wet would have ended the night for me. I was extremely careful to not let the water go above the base of the zippers on my boots.

I've got to ask you though Sharon, do all your boot zippers allow water in or do you have some zippers that actually can withstand water and keep water out?

    Heidi

  19. Hi everyone, Great to see you back Jane, look forward to hearing about your adventures. I also want to relay a message from Wyndi's family. She has been in an accident thus she is away from the messages board for a while but she will be back. Things have been busy since my return from holidays but I did want to mention one particular event while I was on holiday between Christmas and new years. There was a dance party and there were machines blowing soap bubbles into the air. It was very very festive with colourful holiday decorates and holiday music playing from speakers hanging on the walls. I had on a festive red party dress, had my hair done up, was wearing glossy suntan pantyhose and knee high black leather boots. After partying for a while, a section of the dance floor got a little but soapy and I noticed some soap suds on the bottom of my boots. Not wanting to slip and fall in 3 inch high heel boots, I went over to a water fountain and took turns dipping each boot into the water, all the way to my ankle. It might have been partially psychological, but I thought I felt my feet cool off after submerging my boots in water up to my ankle even though I had on 2 pairs of socks and 2 pairs of pantyhose inside my waterproof leather boots! If you were at the party with soap bubbles, I wonder what outfit Sharon or Jane would have worn and I wonder what you would have done to remove the soap from the bottoms of your heels. Hmmmm ...... Heidi

  20. Elswyth, do you wear high heels in the bedroom often? While I wear high heels because i love the look, I know for sure they excite guys. Over the Christmas & new years holidays, I was on a cruise. While on the indoor sun deck, I was relaxing and reading a book. I had on hot pants and a pair of knee high boots with wooden heel. I was stunned by the amount of guys who tried to buy me drinks or come up and try to flirt with me! Heels do make a huge difference in how others see you.

  21. Hi Sharon,

I just got back from a holiday cruise vacation. Internet access on the cruise ship was extremely expensive as it connects with a satellite internet provider thus I have been cut off from chatting with you. I missed hearing from you so much! How was your Christmas & new years holidays? What cool outfits did you wear Sharon?

If anyone else is listening, Alexa, Jane, Sangui, Wyndi, feel free to tell us about your cool holiday outfits and heels

While I was aboard the cruise ship, they had an interior sun room, where they had a huge arched concave glass window that acts like a magnifying glass to amplify the suns light into the sun room. I spent sometime relaxing in the sun room, reading a book while enjoying the warmth of the sun. I would typically wear a bikini top or tube top with mini skirt or hot pants, two layers of pantyhose and a pair of cute knee high boots with a fur ring at the top of the boots and a high heel made out of wood. When I walked on the deck, the wood heel would make a knocking sound. I was very very surprised by how many guys tried to hit on me when I dressed like that. I thought they would be paying attention to their gfs or wives instead. After a few times dressing like that, I changed. I went to the sundeck wearing a bikini top, Victoria Secret Pink sweat pants and hid my high heeled boots inside my sweat pants. The number of drooling guys bothering me diminished. LOL

I totally agree with you, finding a pair of *good* boots in red is not easy. I was shopping around local boutiques when I came across this festive pair. The brand is Michael Antonio and I got mine for 95€. I was trying to find a picture of them online and found a pair that is strikingly similar in appearance that is available at a much better price!

    http://www.zappos.com/michael-antonio-baker-red

Perhaps this is the time for me to add another pair of red boots to my collection although the heels on this pair looks to be rather high.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR everone.

    Heidi

  22. Hello Sharon, Jane, Sangue, Alexa, Wyndi! MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! I just got back from a very very swinging red & white Christmas even dance party. The dress code was that everything we wore had to be either red, white or both colours. I wore a red Santa hat with a red & white horizontal striped t-shirt, red shorts, white pantyhose and a pair of red knee high boots with a decent height high heel. I played, I partied, I drank and I had a rocking good Christmas eve. Bedtime for me but I wanted to wish all the best here to my friends here. Btw, I might be away for a few days for the holidays after this but I will be back! Christmas hugs for everyone Heidi

  23. Hi Sharon, Do you mind if I ask where in the far east your parents are? ...... I absolutely adore the fashion in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Taipei as it is very different from fashion in Paris, Milan, London, Munich, Moscow. It seems Europe is more into the couture chic while the orient is more into ultra cute styles. I love the dresses and the cute boots they have over there. I would love to one day dress up in the couture style of Europe while the next day dress up in the ultra cute style of east Asia  Have you travelled there before? Did you go shopping there? Is part of your wardrobe from there? As you can tell, I get excited by fashion! hahaha Heidi
