one of the reasons I don't have a gf proably because most women wouldn't like that and don't like that I wear heels. Another reason is that they may be a bit jealous that many men can wear high heels and not have any trouble walking in them, wheras they have never been able to master the art. I've always been able to walk in heels even when I was a little kid, but I do have trouble with anything over 4 and a half inches....UNLESS the shoe has a nicely fashioned platform under the forefront. You could then wear a 7 inch stiletto heel if it had a 3 inch platform on the front of the shoe....It would then feel like just a four inch heel. Jeeeze! I could run in 4 inch stilettos! Wheee! Well, I'm afraid the chappie has it all over me then. I have only about 5 pair of stiletto heeled boots that are knee high or thigh high. The thigh high boots are black leather w/ 5 inch spike heel I got from "Dream Dresser" in Washington, DC. The other thigh high boots are in slut red patent, with a 5 inch heel, but the only thing wrong with them is that they don't have the "kill me" long extreme pointed toes like my black pair of boots do. I also have a fair collection of high heel pumps, one pair of 6 and a half inch heel platform sandals with ankle wrap, which are to die for. I manage to get my feet to look very good in them especially if I paint my toenails a dark, deep blood red, metallic colour. It's a shame that none of you'se guys and gals are closer to where I live, so we could go out and do some serious heel shopping. They are putting the boots out now since the weather is changing. Maybe nhoj62 will buy me a pair of boots just like his black or white ones and tell me the cost and then would ship them to me?? Wouldn't want to get anyone into trouble, just an idea ! Stilettoguy

There is safety in numbers, of course...especially here in this incredibly redneck area of the US. Your fellow countrymen/women are much more liberal minded, or so it seems, than my fellow countrymen. When I go out, I simply remember that most of the time people laugh at things which they are too stupid to understand... I don't know where one could locate the type of vynil stretch boots that you describe. I had some of those in the late 70's myself. I believe that the brand was from "Hush Puppies." I swear!! I had a pair of them in Silver, Navy, and of course Red. I liked the Navy ones the best though....I don't know of anyone making these boots now days. As I recall, I think they sold for about $20 -25 US back in the good old 70's. And they had about a 2 inch tapered block heel which matched the color of the boot. Extremely comfy, and sexy as they clung to the shape of your ankle and foot! But, I wore wooden clogs mostly then, and still do. Stilettoguy

I'll modify the shoe mechanically to fit or buy a larger size. Many use their feet to modify shoes with disasterous results. Hello Firefox.... Tell me how do you modify your shoes/boots to fit you better?? I'm just curious?? I have in the past found that I can get more room if needed by cutting or tearing out the inner padding in the sole of my shoes. This would give me sometimes at least a half size better in lenght or a full size in width. I kind of hate to tear up a new heel/shoe, but it is damage which can't be seen anyway....if you have your shoes on your feet. Cheers.... Stilettoguy USA PS...get me out of these ugly shoes!! BARF!

I'm a lucky one...I can usually buy right off the women's sizes in the dept. stores. I can usually wear a 10 medium, although I always ask for an 11...just in case they stock 11's. The 11 medium size gives me a more perfect fit. I've also found that after a few wearings, the leather stretches just enough to feel better. Now that the extreme long pointed, needle sharp toes are the rage again, I've gone completely orgasmic!! It only took 45 years to make a comeback. (sheesh!) stillettoguy
