I just found this site today... sorry if anyone posted it already. There's some crazy shoes there, along with some fetish ones like the ballets and pony boots.

Too bad hulu content is only available in the U.S.
Sorry about that, I wasn't aware. Thanks for providing the alternate link, Trolldeg.

I thought you folks might appreciate a beautiful, intelligent African woman who also happens to have a great sense of style (and a rather nice pair of heels!).

The segment with Moyo starts around 15:30.

I came across this Lexus project with a bunch of short inspirational type things. This one is about a couple fashion designers so naturally there's some high heels. These are pretty high though, and with a lot of straps. Hope you enjoy it, I did.

Hey those metal heels look pretty cool! Maybe not too comfortable by the toes with the edge of that strap possibly digging in... I can't tell really. But the workmanship is very nice, very clean. I also like the locking method, also very low-profile and effective. Who made those things?

Here you can basically design your own skirt:
When you reach the measurements page, you'll see that you don't have to make it super-tight like a true hobble skirt. I've never ordered from them, but you might check it out.

It isn't shiny latex, but:

The site is a bit lacking in style and navigation, but I've never seen anything like their suits. Click the dolphin and you'll find a page that will then link you to some rather large movie clips.
... Not that this has anything to do with shoes. Though I suppose you could claim that it has something to do with feet being transformed into fins?

Heh. That's awesome. Just watch out if she wants to walk on you with those cleats! I guess some folks are into that, but with those I imagine it would be REALLY painful!
-
So we have someone reporting a good experience with them! Excellent. How long did it take to receive your shoes after you ordered them?
-
They are nice. Where did you get them and what brand are they? That toe box looks a bit small; maybe it's just the angle. It looks nice but I wonder how well they fit in the toe area. I'd also like to know what you're doing for hair removal as your legs look pretty smooth in that picture. It's something I've had trouble with myself.

What can I say, H.O.H. - you said pretty much what I was thinking.

This is kinda cool and kinda freaky at the same time. Oh, right - by "freaky" I mean weird or strange or creepy.

At the moment, the top video shows her custom made ballets with a clear toe area. Some kinda plastic.

Thanks guys. So far you've been awesome help. You never know, I could still have problems no matter what I order, but at least I feel more informed!

I'm wondering if anybody has a few pairs of Pleaser's Domina line of shoes. I tried the oxford style, similar to these: http://www.snaz75.com/pl-domina-359.html
Mine are totally closed though, no slingback. I tried them in a size 13, but found them to be a bit too large. Exchanging them for a size 12, I found that the toe box is so small and pointy that I can barely get the shoes on! My toes hurt instantly!
I'm wondering if they've got the same kind of toe box on the other shoes in that line, or if that's just the way the oxfords are. I'm looking at this style next: http://www.snaz75.com/pl-domina-431.html
But from the pictures I can't tell what the toe box is like. Does anybody have some of these? Maybe someone can help me figure out what I can do. I might have to buy a size 13 and hope the ankle strap does a good job of keeping the shoes on, but it would be neat if I could get into a 12.

Start here:
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
The form at the top of the page gives you the download URL when you enter the URL of the movie. Then go here:
http://www.simtel.net/product.download.mirrors.php?id=95201
And download the FLV player. The movie you downloaded must have an .flv extension.

This girl is amazing! If you haven't seen it yet, go watch!

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but I have a feeling that doing such a thing would make walking up and down stairs or inclines rather difficult. The ankle usually has to have some bend in it to do that. I guess it would be okay if you were planning on keeping her in the kitchen all day! Um.. I guess this doesn't answer your question though... sorry.

Heeyyy... I don't go to casinos... and yes I am a boy! It's sad that there's so many that give us such a bad reputation. I will try to improve the image! Um... I can't think of anything that will help...

heeltoe_at150: So does this mean your foot is healing in the high-heeled position? Hmmm....

Dee-zamn! Very informative, thanks. I've got a bit of background in construction so this stuff should not be a problem. I think getting the shape just right might be the trickiest part. As this will be my first project of this nature, I'm not expecting it to be perfect. Now I just need to find some time to do this!

I'm gonna try and make some wedges (eventually) out of some 5.5" heels I've got. They were fairly cheap, the shoes are kinda scuffed up, and one of the heels is broken, so I figure they are good candidates for experiments. Does anyone have any suggestions for what material to make the wedges out of? I was thinking of using wood, because I might be able to shape it the way I want. What type of wood might work best? If not wood, then what other material might allow me to create a strong wedge that I can shape? Also, does anyone have suggestions for attaching the wedges? I was probably going to use the same kind of nails that were used to attach the existing heel, but I'd welcome other ideas.

The picture is a bit dark, but you can at least make out one of the shoes.

This is apparently the girl from VW's "unpimp your ride" commercials, at a recent VW event.
Super long URL!!!

Wow! Summer Glau in non-creepy-chick mode. She looks quite good!

Good idea, conceptually, but the heel would look much nicer if it was a matching color and had at least some subtle curvature to it. It kind of looks like they bolted on a block of wood. I usually like wedges, but those don't look graceful and don't really match the rest of the shoe.
