  1. I've not tried any on in a shop before but I really want to. I'm just in the frame of mind where I'm terrified someone I know will see me and I don't want that. I don't have any heels at the moment and this morning I was so close to buying the ones below online: http://www.thehighheelstore.com/bliss-30.html What does everyone think? Instead I decided that as I'm driving a long distance next weekend I'm going to get to a department store for them opening and try a pair on in the store. Ill be looking for someone similar to the ones above. I really hope I can do it. What I really want to do though is try them on, realise that I love them and put my shoes in the box and walk out of the store with them on. That's my target

  2. Thanks for the great post mbheel. Those wedges look like a great choice. I can relate to so many of your stories. I too have sat in cars for 20mins at petrol stations before going in to pay. It was amazing. I haven't been able to go heeling in public during the day yet but maybe it is just around the corner. Due to my situation I don't own any heels at the moment but I'm planning an early morning visit for Saturday to a department store and that will be my first experience of trying on heels. If I manage to get the courage that is

  3. Nice Jay Jay, its wonderful to have a wife/GF like that. I've learned to respect my wife very much for supporting my way of life, and I know it can be really hard on her to tolerate all of this, much less honestly accept it. So I just have to say, appreciate what you have, and don't push it too far, and hopefully you two can have lots of fun outings together in the future.

You're both so lucky!! I wear heels secretly and paint my toe nails when I'm alone too. I definitely don't think anyone I know would understand/accept my love of heels. Let's hope no-one finds my 5' strappy sandals in my cupboard at home :)

    Good luck JJ!

  4. Managed to pick up my first pair of heels today from a shop and they are some 5" black courts. There wasn't any problems at all getting them and I browsed a few shops before deciding to buy the ones that I did. I went early in the morning so there wasnt many people about which helped and to a town that I never go to so I wasnt afraid of being recognised. I eventually decided to buy the heels I did after staring at 3 or 4 pairs for about 25mins although I didn't try any of them on. Definitely didn't have the courage for that but I felt if I had some reassurance from some of the shop assistants and they asked if I wanted to try them on then I definitely would have. Problem with this shop is that all the heels are out in their pairs so it isn't a case of asking for a style in your size. Even so I've bought them now and had to participate in a bit of public heeling on the way back even if it was just briefly around country roads near to where I live. When I took them to the til I knew the cashier knew that they were for me because she had a little smerk on her face but I think it was obvious from the way I was! Even so, much easier and more plesant than I thought it would be, I shall hopefully be buying some more very soon!

  5. I just bought a new pair of heels, my second pair but the only ones that I own at the moment. First time buying a pair in a shop as well which was fine. I've got some black courts, probably about a 5" heel and a platform as well. I love them even though they are a bit tight but hopefully they will stretch a little bit. anyone got any tips for that? I'll get some pics up soon

  6. acesecret I feel exactly the same as you! I'm really laid back and happy with everything so wouldn't want anything to change! My mates (including myself) are definitely rating girls left right and centre so it sort of seems out of place and there is no way I could cope with all the mocking I would get from them. V interested to know how you brought this up!

  7. I've slept in heels before and it was amazing! I recommend that everyone here does it! When I got my sandals I just couldn't take them off and decided to sleep in them, they felt fantastic and I was so comfortable the first time I wore them I ended up being late for work!

  8. I love this thread! I'm 23 and have a lot of uni debts as well aned no idea where I can hide any heels. I haven't got any at the moment and haven't bought any for the fear of someone else finding them. I don't think for me it is am option for me to tell anyone because I simply don't want them to know at this moment in time and would like to keep my love of heels a secret. When I move away, rest assured I'll be straight onto ebay or into a heel shop of some sort! I love the idea of hiding heels under the bottom of a chest of drawers, I'll look into that!

  9. I voted for the feminine feeling. I love heels and love wearing them but most of all I find them very sexy on women and I feel sexy when I'm wearing them. I'll admit it, it is definitely a fetish for me but I haven't had any heels for long enough (or the environement) where I can freely wear heels for the comfort of them.

  10. Hey, This isn't related to your conversation but I've just seen this thread and have loved all the comments! Think it is a really good idea! I'm 23 and love high heels but I don't have a pair of my own at the moment. I had a pair 18months ago but I'm at university and havent found a way that I could have a pair and keep them secret from my friends. I had a pair of strappy sandals and used to wear them around my house and I drove around in them a lot. I've taken a few walks in them but in areas where I know nobody knows me but not too long and again late at night so nobdoy would see. Really want a new pair and an environment where I can wear them without having to worry if anyone I know will find them or see me wearing them.

  11. Ok, thanks for your opinions. I do need to get myself a pair though, would love to have my own. And yes, I've thought that people would be able to feel a difference in them but they are not used anymore. Does anybody have any ideas/suggestions on how you have been able to keep heels without people you live with/know finding out about them? Matt

  12. Thanks for all the replies, it is great to know that there are so many people out there who love wearing heels as much as I do. It is interesting when you say what is my goal becasuse I don't really have one. Do you guys here have one? I have just spent the past few years (bar the one when I had my own heels) borrowing heels that were just about big enough for me to fit into from family members and then putting them back without anyone noticing. I love driving in heels and would love to have a pair just under my seat for driving but like I said I don't want people that I know to know. In what ways do you think it could be dangerous for me? I loved the sandals I had but I prefer pumps, the next pair I buy will definitely be black, around 4 inches and maybe a small platform. I'd say though, mainly heels that I find girls attractive in. Is that a common feeling? I am interested to go to this heel meet in Bristol but what is it and what happens? Fill me in and I will definitely consider attending. Thanks again for your replies! Matt

  13. Hi Guys, I'm new to the site so I thought I'd take the time to introduce myself, I'm Matt and from the Midlands. I love heels and have done for years although I have never told anyone about my love for them (even though I think it is really obvious!). I lived away from home for a year and managed to buy my first pair of heels, some black strapy sandals, but I got rid of them before I moved back because I didn't think I'd be able to keep them secret. I would really love a new pair though and I've encountered all the regular problems people have mentioned here. Anyways, thats a little about me, I hope I can get some new heels very soon! Matt
