  1. Sherlock is a great series Jeff, good choice! I was only walking down Baker street on Saturday too, and saw a women's shoe shop that only sold shoes in sizes 7 to 11 (UK) close by on (I think) Chiltern street.

  2. Pretty nice. Can you tell us more about them?

Sorry I was going to post a link to the boots but they don't appear online any more. They are from Next, and are normally £70 but were half price (£35) in their recent sale. They are a UK9 / EU43, but seem to run a little big as they fit me well and I'm a UK10. 4 inch heel and seem to be good quality.

  3. The boots are not all that new, though I have not posted a photo before. I went out in these boots earlier today and walked around an outlet shopping mall. I decided to try on a couple of different pairs of female fit jeans in the gap outlet and took photos. As they were 50% off I decided to buy a pair of skinny fit jeans to be able to wear the boots outside jeans, which is not something I've done before, preferring to go for the "covert" look. However, the heels on these make a lot of noise anyway, so I'm looking forward to my first public outing in this combo of skinny jeans and knee high boots.:)

  4. Well I've been enjoying wearing my nine west boots out and about a fair bit the past few days with jeans (see attached photo). Day time visits to the supermarket, and around a shopping centre today. No strange looks, no comments. It seems the more confident you get wearing heels with guy clothes the less anyone notices or cares.

  5. Thanks for the replies - I did go with your choice, and it was the right choice I agree. Here is a picture of the outfit I wore this lunchtime - black trousers, pink / white shirt, Nine West boots. The heels are much noiser than the other pair of ankle boots I have public heeled in before, and I got a fair few looks. I parked at the shopping mall, walked down three flights of stairs to the shops, and walked around for 25mins or so. I didn't have lots of time, so didn't stop in any shops to browse, but walked through House of Fraser and Faith, and got a nice smile from female shop assistants in both when they looked down from the sound my heels were making. Blatant heeling in the middle of the day is much more fun than trying to hide them under baggy jeans.

  6. Try again with photos this time!

I haven't been out public heeling for quite some time now, but fancy a walk around the shopping centre during the working day tomorrow. The question is, do I go for brave option 1 or lame option 2 (work trousers or long jeans) with my new Nine West ankle boots. Option 1 looks much better imo, but is very obvious. But then the heel sound is very loud anyway. Opinions?

  8. I got a new pair of boots delivered today. They have been on sale most places reduced from £95 to £35, but I couldn't find any of the stores that stock them in my size, so I ordered them from Amazon. They fit perfectly. Make is Nine West, and they were sold as a UK 9, but say they are a US womens 11W.

  9. Priceless seem to be big for the size, Barretts small so you'll probably want a 9 from priceless or a 10 from Barretts. Pleaser do seem to be very narrow. I just got a pair of Nine West, and they seem much higher quality and a 9 fits perfectly (it's a women's US 11W really), though I am normally a UK mens 10. Hope some of that helps?

  10. Kneehighs, Your experiences and advice given over the last few pages of this thread could really apply to many aspects of life, not just dating. I am fairly new to this forum, so haven't read the full background through this thread, but I assume you are pretty (very?) successful in your career as well as with your attraction to women? I'm sure if you show the same confidence and self belief in your working life as your social life that this is a big part of that success. I would imagine that using the lessons you are giving here in a job interview would work very well. Keep enjoying life, and keep passing on your experiences and life lessons to us. Thanks, dbert

  11. Scrappy, The problem with buying these sort of shoes for running is that they are designed to work your stabilising muscles more while you run, so increasing your effort to run at a certain pace. When you're wanting to do 1.5mile runs for a fitness test this isn't a good thing!

  12. My first time in public was about 8 or 9 years ago wearing the first pair of heels I bought. I went about 1/4 mile to the corner shop just down the road from where I was living, and the shoes had a stiletto heel and a very pointy toe, but I wore them with long jeans. I didn't pass anyone so the only person who could have seen was the guy running the shop. The first time I did any sort of length of walk in heels was a year or so later when I bought a pair of knee high boots. I communted weekly by train and would wear them on the two mile walk home on a Sunday evening, but again wouldn't really see anyone on this walk. The first proper public heeling was then this year when I wore a pair of ankle boots with jeans in a shopping centre in the middle of the day. It was fun walking around for a half hour or so, and noone took any notice that I saw. Unless they make much noise, wearing heels with long jeans I think is an easy first step as noone seems to notice, never mind care.

  13. No way would I consider it. If you need to have tendon surgery because of damage that needs repairing, or an injury that's one thing, but to elect to have something like that done essentially for some misguided vanity reason just sounds dumb to me.

  14. Dawn you and i pretty much have the same idea for this. Im in a situation where i might have to get a toe remowed because its bend in under another toe due to wear of pointed heels. So if all the others things im trying to straiten it fails the last resort would be remowing it before it does any damage to the toe next to it.

I assume you don't wear pointed shoes any more? Damaging your feet to the extent where you can even consider having a toe removed sounds bad to me.

  15. So from most replies so far people are into yoga and pilates, interesting. Both things I have tried out before, but I'm more into full on aerobic fitness sports.

I am slightly intreged about where you work Al, being in the same county as me and working with aircraft (as I do). As I've seen the photos in your gallery I know you don't sit at the desk next to me at work.

  16. Quite often women who like to wear nice high heels seem to be interested in their image in general and dress well and look after themselves health wise. I assume men who like to wear heels are probably of a similar mindset. Are many of you (men and women) into health and fitness type activities? Be that gym type workouts, running, team sports, cycling, triathlon or whatever? I personally work out a lot, and compete at quite a high level in a fitness oriented sport, and wonder if there are other like-minded people here.
