  1. Dr. Shoe:-) I'm glad that your degree is in "Footwear Design", and since you seem to know what you are talking about, I'm with you. Men can and do wear high heels successfully and this forum proves it. I'm just new to street-heeling, but I'm enjoying it very much. BTW, my degree states:---"To teach or supervise music in the public schools in the state of Pennsylvania". I'm retired since 1990.

  2. Texasbumpkin:-) Thanks again to Hoverfly for answering my questions, and thanks to you for your follow-up after. It was very nice of Hoverfly to purchase those shoes for you. Hope your surgery went well and here's hoping that you recover in a quick time. I had surgery on my left knee in October. It's coming along nicely. Have been home with sciatica in my back, left hip, and left leg. I'm going back to work tommorrow. This period of time has let me practice my posting and to make new friends from around the world. It's helped to take my mind off of the pain. I'm recovering slowly. Dawn HH

  3. Bert:-) I like the looks of your boots. The toe box on yours look very much like the toes on the boots in the original pics above. Bubba 136:-) I agree with you that no-one would be the wiser to the fact that you would be wearing heels under jeans. I like that look, but what concerns me is the rearward slope of the leg part of the boot. Would that make wearing them uncomfortable? Since I never had a pair of boots like that, I guestion that slope to the rear. Someone has said that they are made by Bachi, but what is the heel height and the price? The size is no problem with me as I take a USW 8. Dawn HH

  4. I noticed an error on my last post. After my logout, the wife called me for supper and upon later checking the post, I noticed I had signed it Dan HH. Sometimes I hit the keys but don't get the letters I want. That's what happens when you type with 2 fingers on a web-tv small keyboard and don't proof-read. Sorry--- the post should have been signed--- Dawn HH P.S. Don't smack me too hard!

  5. Nicolette ordered those pumps for a specific purpose and as long as he/she likes that design ,the more power to him/her. It' a free country and not everyone likes the same things. If they did---it sure would be a dull "what, me worry" world. I'm entitled to my opinion just as Nickolette has that same right, and I expressed my constitutional right above and I still stand by my convictions on that right. also stand by Nicolette's right to his/her opinion on those shoes also. To end on a friendly note, they are just not my style, but whoever likes them. go for them and wear them in good health. Dawn HH

  6. Bootcrazy:-) The comments made by Heelfan and Himark has awakend my interest. Was your pic staged for the photo, or can you actually walk outside in those boots, and how high is the heel? They certainly are nice boots and the fit seems to be perfect. If I could find a pair of patent knee-high boots with a chunky heel, I would buy them in a New York minute. Dawn HH

  7. Terayon:-) I would have to agree with you---those are without a doubt the "ugliest" shoes I have ever seen. I wouldn't waste my hard-earned money on a pair for Halloween or for any other time either. Not for my feet. I'm new to the board and just now catching up on the posts so hence the late posting on this subject. I've only been here less than a month now. Dawn HH

  8. Joak:-) I really like your pictures taken in the castle. Who took the pictures while you did the posing? What size shoe do you wear and how high was the heels on the shoes used in the pics? You have great looking legs and ankles for a guy. Just goes to show that a good fitting pair of heels and pantyhose can enhance a shapely leg to start with. Great photography, also. I have also visited your web-site several times and have enjoyed those pics tremendously. Dawn HH

  9. Bootcrazy:-) I like you love the fit, feel, and looks of boots and like the looks of your "street-boots". You do the same as myself---using 4" chunky heels under boot-cut ladies jeans. Someone posted that they didn't know where to get ladies jeans. I get mine from Kaufmann's department store, (Liz Claiborne), size 16 and I get some from Lane Bryant, (size 16 petite). Since I have a short leg measurement, they can be trimmed off and fitted to show only 1" heel. BTW, I take the same boot size as yourself---size 8. Dawn HH
