  1. Jeff.

Wearing high heels are one thing but dressing like you do in public, how does it make you feel? Why do it? How do you really think people react when they see you?

Sorry for answering that since it is not for me, but couldn't help it.A good answer is:striving for fashion equality between the sexes and even options of self expression!

  2. Whenever i have abit of free time i always browse around the internet looking for my next purchases :) i came across this outfit and love it!

what do you guys think? from what you've all seen of me, do you guys think i could pull it off? i love both the shoes and the dress, but don't want it to look terrible on me. I think it'd suit me well as the neck line isn't too low, so my flat chest wouldn't be so obvious

I like male chest, especially muscular in a so called women's top or dress.Give it a try, mate!Looks different (than women) because we (men) are different and we must appreciate the look in that way.

  3. 8/30/2010:

Well, here I go again with yet another jaunt, my FIFTH in the last six days, and I'm certainly having a whole lot of fun! Here's today's outfit:

A forest green polo shirt, a 20 inch button down black denim skirt (both from JCPenney), the Payless black "Hazel" pumps, bare legs and my black handbag. Once again, I decided to push the envelope a tad by going into Center City, returning to Rittenhouse Square where I was on Saturday. Unlike then, it wasn't nearly as hustling and bustling with people when I arrived around 10:30 a.m. since today was a workday, after parking and feeding the meter, I casually strolled a couple of blocks down to Barnes & Noble and went in to upload a couple of e-books to my B & N Nook™ e-reader. With a tall glass of iced tea, I sat in the lounge area and read a couple of chapters of the original Frankenstein (which I downloaded for free) for about an hour, which was about the time I had on the meter. Not wanting to wind up with a ticket, I returned to the car and zipped over the bridge into South Jersey for some more goofing off.

I arrived at the B & N store near Moorestown Mall a little after noon, since I wasn't hungry, I skipped lunch and read some more until about 12:40, then packed up and went over to the mall to catch the 12:50 showing of Sly Stallone's latest popcorn flick, The Expendables which I thought was a hoot and a half. Ahh! Nothing like an afternoon spent watching 1980's action heroes blowing stuff up and killing bad guys! Tons of fun! After the flick ended, I passed by a trio of teenagers, one boy and two girls in the lobby, don't think any of them were older than 14 or 15 if that, well, they promptly broke out laughing when they saw me, but I didn't say anything or even turned around to acknowledge them, that would've been a waste of time, and life's too short to engage lowbrow fools in senseless banter. The funny thing is that while I was neatly dressed, those kids looked like total slobs. Maybe I should've laughed at how THEY were dressed.

I could've stayed in South Jersey longer, but I wanted to get back over the bridge and into Philly before the traffic snarled up since it was in the early stages of rush hour. Still, it was another enjoyable outing, one not even those teen turds could spoil with their laughter. I'm sure I gave them all a cheap thrill, and by nightfall, they will have totally forgotten about me, given the ridiculously short attention span today's teens have. Another day, another successful outing.

Maybe a "women's" top might be a better option.I liked your style with the purple one, may be buy something else like a nice blouse.

  4. Here is an outfit I was messing around with the other day. I don't think I would wear it out of the house at this point. I would like to but I don't see it in the cards.

    Anyhow, opinions please.

    The outfit itself:

    - guess pumps

    - guess skinny jeans

    - white womens top

    - black wide belt

    I like it,especially the belt.Suits you.

  5. But I would make a terrible looking woman!

There is a gender equality philosophy of the fashion freestyler.Wear "female" stuff but as a guy and compare to other guys.So I wear skirts, tops, heels and so on and never try to look like a woman or compare to one.Hens compare to hens and roosters to roosters...

  6. "Manly"! "Girly"! Both and others like these labels are stereotypes from our social brainwashing. If a person desires that type of attire than it's their look. People will continue to follow the social climate and point their fingers of being offended because they can't think out of the box and realize the real person, man or women, before them. We accept women in any attire as women, why can't we do the same for men. Which one is less of a human being? Or aren't they equal?

That is what I say also.More power to you.

  7. Men have only themselves to blame for the social restrictions placed on them. They are too timid to overcome objections. There was a time women were not permitted to wear pants, and some said women who wear pants should get psychiatric help. At least I can wear a skirt without creating an uproar.

We men have to "do our own thing" and let the chips fall where they may, the same as women did 100 years ago in wearing pants.

And who do you think is putting these views in a blank male brain (0-5 yrs of age)?Maybe the one that is bringing children up for the most part and the one that seeks advantage through male limits - yes, the opposite sex.Remember, once the "masculinity" bug is inside our heads, men start to enhance this by talking and acting macho sh*t.But if that bug is never put, there will be different story.

  8. My girlfriend is totally suportive. She thinks that it is unequal women to wear all masculine apparel without any social scorn while males do not have the privelege to wear non masculine stuff. The example about the breasts is not a good one. After all when I wear skirts, heels, tops I do not alter my body, persona an so on.As women are still women in trousers, sneakers, man's t-shirts and etc.

  9. That is better - the top suits you in my opinion!I wear even more "feminine" looking tops. The only condition is that they must not have bra-like parts (or cups) in them. Some models have integrated such parts and they are completely unappropriate for a guy.Apart from that all "female" upper clothing is appropriate for men. Remember that you must compare yourself and your look to other males (wearing similar items) and not to women.

  10. ( much like when men started wearing ear rings in the 70 s )

( much like women wearing trousers in the 60 s )

( much like girls getting tattoos in the 2000 s )

There is one minor problem - taboos for women fall faster because their appearance is not connected (there is no such stereotype) to sexual orientation and to lesser extent normality (whatever that terms means )While for men is far more conservative.Even the so called earrings for men have the same issue - it is normal for males to wear just a few types of earrings (remember, you must be very masculineeee) and guess what the same types can be worn by a woman without social scorn while if a guy puts a pair of "feminine" earrings that have wiiiide variety (as all women's fashion does), there is the huge problem.

  11. You look great but as I have always said, man's stuff mixed with "feminine" just does not look right in my opinion As "female" shoes and skirts work out well on a guy and doing so in a different way, so does upper body apparel.Do not compare it to a woman, it is pointless.I wear "female" tops as a guy (skirts and heels also) with my male figure and I like the results ( so does my girlfriend).

  12. All skirts look better with a pair of high heels.

Once you get confident with a skirted look in public, I doubt many would ever want to look at the option of pants/ trousers ever again! Skirts are comfier to wear!

    Cheers

    Heel-Lover

Amen to that!I should add a nice top or blouse, tailored jacket also - complete the look very well.

  13. I really like the shoes. And, you look better wearing the skirt and dress than about 80% of the female population on earth.

Males should be compared to other males - as roosters are compared to roosters and not to hens :) And yes - male animals are the prettier - only humans have inverted that.

  14. To look fem is not bad in terms of fashion, and many women look masculine fashioned without having the male figure as an obligatory condition, they just look different compared to a guy in the same outfit .So some males like me preserve and develop their male figure by fitness and reveal the results with the prettiest clothing and shoes even applied on the upper half (no cups and bra-like parts) to make a complete look.If you try to mix a fem top with man's trousers and shoes it would not look well too, the same is applied to skirt and heels and a baggy man's shirt or other similar apparel. Just my opinion...I am NOT the universal law, anyone can do whatever he/she likes. The problem is that a masculine looking woman in terms of fashion is not under the pressure and scorn as a guy that prefers feminine fashion as a complete outfit. Remember no wigs, pads and other fake parts permitted :). As I always say, I use masculine and feminine just to make myself clear, otherwise I do not believe that objects have genitalia to be male or female.

  15. My girlfriend supports male fashion equality, so there must be other women that do the same.hope you find one. My view of fashion equality is that men should wear whatever they want as MEN and be socially accepted ,as women have already accomplished that.

  16. Heelguy is the winner for me so far.He has the the best looking legs and I wouldn't call them female looking. P.S. I am straight if it matters. Also I continue to maintain that such comparision should be based on male vs male and female vs female.
