  1. Generally speaking people subdue to stereotypes. If you are out of the box most likely you won't be liked.Secondly as women's well earned fashion freedom (to wear all male apparel and social roles and behaviors) is thorough in developed countries they are not willing to give away their advantage towards men. They might be curious why you wear whatever, ask you - are you gay and so on but attraction is out of the question. That is my opinion...having more options in terms of social acceptance enables them to suppress males in an non conspicuous way and enables them to stand out (woman in male apparel or social role - heroic, man in women's apparel and so on - hilarious, gay and etc.).The concept in the brackets is embedded in kids' minds since their birth.I am not picking on anyone, just the situation is like that and someone must voice it.The woman that I live with shares these views (though it took some time) - I DO NOT hate women, but find them cunning.

  2. Hi All

Tried the suggestion Drshoe made so put on a business suit and stockings sorry dont have a FF pair with the shoes and tried out the look

    It felt very nice

and those shoes are so comfortable to wear

    I've included some pics

    what do you think?

Also tried getting out of them via the rear zipper and hey presto I can so dont have to keep doing the straps ...saves some time

    thanks for that!

Nice outfit. It suits you.Maybe try one with a short tailored jacket.
  3. But I agree with some of the previous comments that men generally don't look that great in womens clothes. Having suppressed my feelings about heels for so long, I'm determined not to do the same with these new urges to try womens clothes. It's exciting when I think about it so want to explore it.

But I think that womens clothes will be something I keep for me and any prospective partner (I am single at the minute).

I do not agree - men can look great in so called women's attire as long as you compare yourself to other men,not to how it would look like on a woman, especially beautiful one.Do you think that all women would look that natural in masculine attire if they had our limitations - it is just that the eye is used to that sight.Clothing and shoes as objects can be 2 types: beautiful and such made for males and tomboyish women (they seem to be the majority these days - just look around on the street) :silly:. Men have been deprived by society to look beautiful. 2. Wearing female stuff have not prevented me from finding a woman that is with me many years. One more thing - I wear all as a freestyler, not as a female impersonator (TV,CD whatever).Fighting for gender equality through fashion for males...after all till 1940's women COULD NOT wear men's clothing, shoes and other apparel freely. There is plenty of literature on the subject if you do not believe me.One hundred years of fashion equality and men would look great in the former just women's attire in the eyes of the society.
  4. Wear "female"tops but as a guy.I do it and it works.Do not wear fake parts and so on and pick models that have no cups.Act as a man and thus you will achieve what I also try to do - equal fashion options between the genders, while still remaining a male and not a female impersonator (no offense to those people).

  6. Ronheels,

I was Up North over the weekend and just no got home and saw all the replies to your post. My answer to this is that if anyone (that is ANYONE) here has all the answers to all things relating to men wearing heels, women wearing combat boots, sexuality, etc...then they probably don't need to be on any type of forum because they KNOW IT ALL.

    HappyinHeels

In my country women wear whatever masculine apparel - no public scorn. But for a guy it is a different story.

  7. This question at this site has been asked before and I have seen some men in higher heeled cowboy boots or men's block-style higher heeled dress boots in public. But today was different.

I was at my bank today and actually wearing tennis shoes today (I was next going to help a friend move some furniture) as opposed to wearing high heels. I was pouring a bag of coins I had collected into a change machine when I happened to look up and see a very tall individual. When hearing that noticable clicking on the tile floor, I gazed from shoes upward at this person. The first thing I saw was a pair of black patent leather pumps with at least 5" stiletto high heels. The person was wearing a mid-length pencil skirt, leopard-patterned blouse, long light brown hair, and obviously took great care in applying make-up. In heels, this person probably stood 6' 5" tall, so needless to say, drew some attention.

As this person started greeting all of the bank personnel by name and chit-chatting with them, I realized this person was a man dressed in this attire. Not shy and very friendly, he went about his banking business at the same time I was. We finished at the same time and left the bank at the same time.

He said his name was Janice, and that he was a transexual preparing for a sex-change operation in the future, with the financial help from friends and family. He said, "people are going to stare at you because you are talking to me." I said that I really didn't care what people thought and that's the way I feel when I wear high heels in public. He asked me if I cross-dressed and I said I did not, except for wearing high heels. I found out that he knows my female friend who owns an exotic boutique and has bought his high heels from her (he said he wears size 14).

I would be truly happy when there are men dressed like this but not due to sex change operations and etc.More the reason must be fashion equality between sexes.Sad thing is that we, freestylers are often mistaken for CD/TV,transsexuals and so on due to the misinformation and false stereotypical public conceptions about what is a normal male.Men must have equal fashion options not due to transsexualism...but with the macho philosphy implied to adolescent males and forth in their lives there is no chance for mass changes on this unjust issue at least for now.

  8. Men's fashion is boring generally speaking, not just shoes. That is how men are being brought up - you stray from masculine looks and that turns you being not normal, gay and so on.While the other sex can wear all male apparel without any bad reactions!

  9. Hi folks,

not sure if I've every replied to this one or not... but for me I'd say its a little more 'girly'.

I wear heels most of the time, they just look better with a skirt so I wear skirts almost all the time. I keep myself well groomed.

As my style evolved and confidence grew I have evolved a little more femine style but I still want to be treated as a guy in heels...and this is the case - I always get referred to as a guy, people seem to be able to understand.

    cheers

    Heel-Lover

That is the best example of male freestyler - wearing whatever you please as a guy.

  10. It is up to us to change that.In Western civilization women wear almost anything (if not all) without generally speaking any public scorn.Man can look good too in so called female apparel but in a different way. That is the freestyler's philosophy and yes I find skirts more comfortable than trousers from anatomical point of view.It is better for the cojones...skirts do not apply pressure on the crotch and do not stop the air inflow that is vital to male genitalia.

  11. A look like this must be feminine from head to toe simply because a miniskirt and stiletto pumps are as feminine as it gets. You obviously like a very feminine look. Trust me on this one and choose a better top and a miniskirt in better shape.

I also think that many feminine tops are looking good on guys as long as you compare it with how it looks on men and not on women.Such combination can be good but in a man's way and that is what you should expect as a result.Whoever male wants to compare with women while wearing female apparel is aiming to be a female impersonator and not a freestyler.

  12. I'd rather see ten of us out there simply doing our thing than one of us just banging the gong. Given the fact that perhaps 1/100, if not 1/1000 actually do vs speak out, I think it would be nice if we simply did, rather than speak out.

Imagine what would happen if all of us simply decided to wear heels from this point and time, onward? Despite hhplace's reputation, I dare say it represents but a small minority of male heelers out there. Most of the male heelers I've met have never heard of it.

The best way to bang is to go out as a guy - I do not wear just heels but do it as a male, not as a female impersonator.

  13. If you are male, and you:

    a) Simply want to 'mix and match' men's and women's clothes - then you 'freestyle'.

 Want to LOOK LIKE a woman - then you 'crossdress'

    c) Wish to FEEL LIKE a woman - then you are a 'transvestite'

    d) Wish to BE A WOMAN - then you are 'transgendered' or 'transexual'.

I wear only female apparel as a guy (do not want to pass as anything else) - that is what I call freestyling. In the moment that there is equal variety of apparel for men - tops, skirts, dresses, heels and so on I will no longer have to buy stuff from the other isle in the store.P.S. Almost every (if not every) type of male apparel has female version that is exact or very close and STILL some women wear from the male section and noone bats an eye.So that is why I choose to be a freestyler and have equal options.

  14. I've said it before and I'll say it again....

Men wearing some shoes is nothing compared to the struggle women went through to get voting rights and almost equal pay!

Stop whingeing and put your heels on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am talking about total fashion freedom here.Women are wearing all types of apparel that we do.Whether it is nothing or not is not up to us to say that.I think that (read it carefully)MALES SHOULD DEFEND THEIR MALE RIGHTS,as women are defending women's rights. With that sort of mindset(to defend the opposite sex rights) no wonder that there is no gender equality in terms of self-expression.About so called equal pay...it is up to the person's ability and the type of profession.Different professions - different wage.If you are not able to do something you cannot demand same payment. In my country a female accountant earns as the male one - get it.

  15. If more men stopped "banging on" about mens rights, and just got on with it then it wouldnt be an issue would it. Its all in the mind, so to any guys who want to bang on about mens rights, get over it, and get on with it...

You ever hear Maximillion or Kneehighs banging on about mens rights, crying over which side of the store the clothes are on? No, they just get on with it and enjoy themselves, end of...

Maybe if more men actually do BANG then it will be mainstream for men to have fashion freedom.

  16. As I have said many times - since there is no forbidden fashion for women - no matter how masculine it is (shoes, clothes, accessories), males also have the right to wear whatever they please.Objects do not have gender afterall.I am fed up to hear only about women's rights, how about men's rights!

  17. Thanks everyone, i had planned to go out in my heels and such this weekend, but as ive come down with flu i think i'll give it a miss and just try and get better, hopefully next weekend i'll have better luck and have a night out in my heels with my legs being shown of to tell you all about!

As requested by skirtedvik, here is a fuller picture of me wearing the grey gathered dress/top with my tony bianco snakeskin heels, unfortunately it doesn't show the outfit off too well, but the only other pic i have of it, my underwear is on show, so is not appropriate.

Thank you - I enjoy complete looks, try to do it myself also.

  18. So i took the day off work today as i've come down with the flu :) never the less, with the house to myself, not even my sickness could stop me pulling out my latest pair of heels and taking a few pictures!

Here's my favourite one, im wearing a grey loosesly fitted upper half dress/top with a tighter fit for around the bum. I think it look absolutely fantastic with my new heels! What do you all think? only problem is i have to keep pulling it down as it starts to ride up and show more than in appropriate :)

Stunning as always, seems a bit incomplete though (yes I mean the upper part is missing).
