  1. Hi G.G. :P I find that in my everyday rounds, that I almost always see little or no heels on women today. I think they mostly reserve them for more formal or evening wear these days. I also see less and less of what I would call "business appropriate" clothing amongst the office personnel.(lots of jeans and t-shirts) That brings me to say, Yes , you who wear heels is beginning to be quite a rare occurance.

  2. Hi JeffB I have found that a company called Snaz75.com has very good prices on Pleaser shoes. If you go to home page and click "what's new" you will have a choice of Pleaser, Ellie, etc. The 420 you posted is $42.99 from Snaz. Check them out and let me know what you think. I have ordered from them at least three times, and am quite satisfied with service. They are out of Texas,BTW.

  3. I agree with Rainbow and Shafted. No use in pain for style. I live in South Florida, and when it is really hot and humid, I have to resort to sandals or the long pointy toes in a pump. Heat makes my feet sweat and swell terribly. So do what your feet are happiest with, and what is COMFORTABLE!! Heels are GRRRREAT!! S.L.

  5. Jeff :P I have purchased several pair of shoes from Pierre Silber, and I have to say my faves are the ellie brand 4" & 5" pumps for both comfort and quality of overall construction. I also found a pair of Jante' 5" black velour pumps about two years ago on their website. Don't regret buying them either. Comfortable and really sexy looking! S.L. heels are GRRRREAT!

  6. Rainbow:) I too think those espadrilles look good. One of my first pair of shoes was an old payless pair of canvas ankle tie espadrilles. I liked them so much, and they were so darned comfy, that I wore them slap out in a summer. As for the camel pumps they are to die for! Are they a 4" or 5" heel? S.L.

  7. I think that I am inclined to agree with bubba on this one. I know that larger cities bring about a larger cultural diversity, but still, things out of the mainstream of "normalcy" sometimes attract more than a few eyes. I am originally from Baltimore myself, and there are more narrow minded individuals in that area than you can shake a stick at. Jeff, please enlighten us as bubba requested. It will be interesting, I'm sure. S.L. heels are GRRRRREAT!

  8. I have gotten a couple of pair of 4" pump styles from newport news, and their shoes usually run about 1/2 size large, so I am fortunate that their 11 fits me comfortably. Very few of theis shoes run up to a size 12.

  9. I know what you mean. I have a pair of 7" , and have had them for a while. Still having a bit of a time keeping my knees straight! For now, I'm happy with scooting about on 4" to5" stilettos. Anyone who can successfully pull off an extended walk in those heels, well...I bow to your feet! S.L.
