Nice mary janes. I too find those kind of platforms easier to walk in than single sole shoes with the same heel height. Congrats!!

They have to look nice and be comfortable, so if the heel is higher, great. I do have some 5" wedges that are more comfortable than my male tennis shoes.

My last was a pair of 4" patent peep toe slingbacks, and a pair of 5" slingback wedges for my summer wear, both from wally-world, both about $15 US, both very comfortable.

I like high heel slides in the summer. I see that those are Pleaser's Luscious line. My question for you is... are they comfortable? I have other styles of Pleaser shoes, and they all kill my feet.

I'm 5'7" and wear a us women's size 12. It is really bad because a lot of really desirable styles only go to a us women's 10. Payless gets a lot of my business!

I would say that I was about 18 when I started.Been a blast ever since! I'm 45 now.

I too like diff colors, but to wear out, I stick to black, brown, or navy, whichever goes best. I do have a few red, white, and pink, but as I said, don't wear them out. BTW...LOVE the pink boots!

I have never done the corset thing , but I would love to try it out , just to see how it feels. Any suggestions as to the ones that are the easiest to get into without help? ( My s/o does not go with my heels, etc.)

I bought a pair of the pump style with ankle straps from a u.s. site called snaz 75.com , and they were a little pricey in leather, but oh so much fun to walk in, not to mention drive a stickshift car ! The only thing I had to do is put some gel pads in the toe area, since they have NONE built into them. Comments on these from anyone else would be great. BTW, they are called "Femme" and they have them in boots , also. Available to size 14 u.s. , but don't know if they ship outside u.s. or canada.

Yep....neat feeling controlling your wheels in stilettos when there is snow on the road. A little extra pedal pumping going on there! Did it last month in 6" pumps.

JMCposted a link on page 1 that has pumps that show toe cleavage. As for me, a little is sexy, too much makes it look like the shoe doesn,t fit.

I've worn my 5" ellie pumps for about 12 hours with no ill effects. I wear a women's size 12, so the instep angle isn't too steep in a heel that height. One of these days, i want to be able to wear 6-7" heels that long . Wish me luck on that one!

I have gone public when I lived near Tampa, Fla., and I have seen in major metropolitan areas of the U.S., it seems that people really don't give a hoot about other people, what they are doing, wearing, etc. I now live in a small town in Tennessee, and still haven't got the courage to go public...People here would not understand.
