Jeff, what you say is absolutely true. The trick to it is to be confident and have fun with whatever you are wearing. People have a nose for sniffing out the weak. If you don't act confident at all and keep looking around you if no one notices, you will have much more chances of getting weird looks and such than when you are having confidence and walk with your head held up high. I am building things up at the moment. I went out with stockings under my pants to run some errands recently (though I made sure no one noticed) and I regularly wear womens panties under my normal guys attire. I'm not ready for heeling out and about yet, but when I am, I'm going to do some shopping with my girlfriend!

Nope, I have never purged. I only threw away a pair of nice heels because I really wore them out, but further than that, no. Then I must also say that my heels collection is very, very small. The reason for that is because I live with my parents. I keep it small so that I can hide my collection with ease from my parents. They don't know about my love for wearing high heels, and I don't know how they'd react if they found out. My girlfriend offered to keep my heels at her place, and if I feel like it I could switch between pairs every so often. I still have to think about that.

I already posted a part about this in the 'Partners thoughts of you wearing women's footwear?' thread, but I really want and need to get the full story out.

Last weekend when my girlfriend was coming over, and I confessed to her that I have a high heel fetish and that I love wearing high heels. I also confessed that it's not entirely limited to high heels and that I like wearing women's clothing as well.

She looked a bit weird at me at first, but then she said to me that she loved me for who I am and not for what I am wearing.

After my confession I put on my pair of Demonia Platform boot, with 4'75 heels, together with a white skirt, fishnet tights and her bra and hoodie that she loaned me. She told me I looked cute! (There's a picture of me in that outfit below) She told me I could pick out any pair of high heels that I wanted and she'd get them for my birthday, which is coming up next month! After telling her, a big burden has fallen off my shoulders. I feel so extremely relieved that I told someone I trust and who on her turn happens to accept it and supports me in it. I have been keeping this secret from everyone for the last 6 years. It feels so extremely good that I can share it. All those feelings of being afraid of getting caught and looking weird at that I cropped up in those 6 years... All gone now.

Well, in those days after that I talked a lot with her about high heels. She didn't like them, but she told me that she was willing to wear high heels if I wanted. I left the choice up to her, but she still said she wanted to try.

And thus we went shopping today. Not for heels per say, but she still needed some decent shoes for the prom night that is coming up tomorrow. She wasn't too sure about buying heels at first, but she ended up buying 2 pairs of heels. (Thanks to a limited offer that the second pair of shoes was just for one Euro)

When we got back at her house, she tried one pair on. I got to wear the other pair! We have about the same shoe size. Her heels were a tad too small for my feet, but I walked around in them nonetheless. Later she took of the pair she was wearing, and I switched my pair for the pair she just had taken off. Another great experience. I could hardly contain my excitement!! I think I was in them for about 90 minutes. (I will get pics of them later this weekend!)

She has practiced walking in them now, and she told me she figured out why I liked wearing heels, since she thought it wasn't so bad after all.

She enjoys me seeing me in my heels too. She told me that I turn extremely happy like a kitten that plays with its toys when I am wearing heels.

We have agreed however that I will not constantly wear high heels and other womens attire when she's around. She has a -boy-friend after all, and I fully understand that.

Whew, that is that. I just wanted to get this out. Thank you for reading! I hope this encourages other guys to confess to their girlfriends/wives if they haven't done so already. Go for it guys, wear your heels with pride and joy!

Histiletto, what you say is absolutely true. If we keep wearing heels in the safe haven of secrecy, men in heels will never get accepted generally. Is it so important what others think of you? Apparently, it is. But that is because of what the community always has been; all geared towards status and power. You only need to be a tad different than the rest... But thanks to the internet, finding people with the same interests as you has became easier. We all are and offer support to one another. This gives us the courage to do what we love to do: wearing high heels, and in some cases, even other types of women's clothing. And with courage I mean: go out and about with your favorite heels on. I've yet to take that step, but my girlfriend is willing to do some heeling with me in public soon. Anyways men, wear your heels with pride and joy! Just as I do when I am with my girlfriend!

Awsome heels Christopher! I must say I really like the look of them! I saw a few girls walking in them before, and while I initially thought they looked kinda weird, I think they look sleek and cool now. I might want to purchase a pair for myself too. ^^

First of all, the news is good, indeed. Thanks for tell us. And, appreciate the picture of you dressed, also. You're lucky that she has accepted your desire to dress wearing heels and women's clothing with little or no misgivings about your sexuality.

I hope things work out for you both and that you achieve true happiness in the months to come. Just don't let the crossdressing become the main focus of your relationship. A little goes a long way and a lot can become burdensome.

Like she said: 'I don't mind that you wear heels and women's clothing when I am around, but you must not forget that I also want to see you in your guy attires too. I have a boyfriend after all.'

I'm okay with that. I wasn't planning on constantly wearing heels and skirts and whatnot when she's around anyway. It's great I can let myself go every once in a while now but I am still a guy and I would never consider turning myself into a woman biologically.

Please let us know how your "gig" turns out and her reaction to the way you dress up for it. Also, if you can, please take some pictures. One picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say.

Well, the gig isn't until the end of January, but something happened this weekend.

My girlfriend came over to my place, and it was lots of fun, of course. Well, at one point she was joking about that transvestite boyfriend thing again. At that point I felt like confessing to her that I wasn't just doing it just because she thought it was funny, but because I really felt good being in womens clothes and shoes.

So I confessed to her. I told her I had an extreme high heel fetish and liked to wear them. I also told her I like to wear womens clothing.

Her reaction to it was anything but what I expected... She looked at me a bit weird at first, but then she smiled and said: "I love you for who you are, not for what you are wearing." She went on: "You can wear heels and womens clothing when I am around if you want to. I don't mind. I feel happy about the fact that you trust me enough to tell me this." I couldn't believe she was so approving.

It didn't end there. She quickly loaned me one of her bras and her hoodie and said I could wear them. I already had a skirt, some fishnets and my Demonia boots, as well as a nice wig, so I changed clothes. When I was finished, she asked me how I felt. I told her I felt really good. She complimented me how her hoodie looked good on me. I felt so confident and happy! She did however threw the 'You're not gay are you?' question at me, but I assured her I wasn't and that I purely wear high heels and womens clothing because I feel good in them.

I am wearing my platform Demonia boots here, type Slush-62, with 4.75 inch heels. I love those boots! They look elegant yet give off a powerful vibe.

Anyway, after a little while being in my outfit, I told her I felt a bit sad that she didn't like to wear high heels. She explained that the main reasons she doesn't wear them is because she thinks she doesn't need them because she's tall enough as is, as well as she can't walk in them.

But here comes the best part... She is willing to start wearing high heels. She told me she would want to try if I teach her how to walk in them. And she wants me to pick out a pair of heels for her, too!

On top of that, my birthday is coming up and she told me that she wants to get me a pair of high heels for me to wear when she's around!

I am the happiest guy alive. I never imagined her being so approving and supporting, let alone willing to buy heels for me. I hope your girlfriends/wives will be as supporting for you as my girlfriend is for me! After all, if girls/women can wear whatever they want, why can't guys/men as well?

My girlfriend approves, on top of that I think she even likes it. It kinda started when she told me she wondered how it would feel to make out with another girl, to which I replied I would dress up as one if she wanted to. Guess what happened after that. She tells me how sexy she thinks it is that I wear heels and women's clothing and often jokes around I'm the woman in this relationship. The only thing I feel sad about is that she dislikes high heels herself, since she can't walk with them. She even tried on a pair of mine, stood up and sat down immediately after standing up. Why did you purchase ballet heels? I've never worn them before, so I'm curious if any of you guys have any experiences with them. Are they anywhere close near being comfortable? I can't imagine it's easy to walk in them...

I know how that feels- I need to pass a very crowded train station every day, and see lots of girls and woman in sexy high heels. Then I wish I was in them. I've yet to meet a girl/woman with (near) identical heels though.

But I talked to a girl once, and the subject switched to high heel boots. I told her I own a pair of Demonia high heel boots, and she immediately went 'Omg! You have Demonias? I'm soooo jealous!' I'm extremely open minded. If she wanted to wear men's clothing and grow hair, that's her choice. I think I'd have major troubles getting used to the body hair though... I doubt I could anyway.

Hi there! I'm still a bit new here, but I'm relieved I found this place. I thought I was the only guy that likes to wear high heels from time to time! I always had a fascination for high heels, but never thought of wearing them myself. But one day me and a buddy of mine had to get dressed up as girls for this gig we had. I got myself a pair of heels just for that, and when I put them on for the first time... It felt so good! I've went through several pairs since. Pumps, wedges, boots, etc. It's hard for me to buy heels though, and not because of my size (US 13/EU45), but I also still live with my parents (I'm 18 years old, not yet ready to move out) which don't know that I like to wear them. I don't know how they'll react if I tell them so I prefer to keep it my little secret. But when no one's home, I usually slip on a pair of my heels or high heeled boots. I feel so good and proud when I wear them! Sometimes I see a girl/woman walking with sexy heels on the streets, making me wish so badly I was wearing them! Life's unfair sometimes. Haha.
