... the heels are 6"3/8 (a little over 16cm) high. And with the 'hidden' platforms there are roughly 14cm left. So, it kinda works... ;o)))

Isn't it amazing how people get caught up in the excitement on eBay? I've seen bidders pay more for a used item than it would have cost had they ordered it new!
Absolutly, especially when you see people putting silly bids on things with minimal value + postage it just gets daft.
I think the shoes above are either a serious collector or a museum?!
However, if anyone out there can make or recommend a cobler to make a replica pair of these I'm interested!
If I was the seller I would be saying "the drinks are on the 'ouse" as over quoted by Peggy Mitchell in Eastenders!

In my books absolutly! I just think it is a shame that the style and dimension and look of the shoes havnt managed to survive the passage of time. Of course we still have high heel shoes but somehow these are "different". I remember a long time ago someone was trying to set up a company on here that was going to design and sell fetish footwear with a vintage bent to them and be very similar in appearance to those in the clips. I never did find the site/shop.

I'm currently on the case to see if I can hunt down a specific style of the Gianmarco Lorenzi range. They are currently avalible on Ebay in various sizes, unfortunatly not the size my girlfriend requires.
A few email enquiries to the sellers has turned out to be fruitless, with the standard reply of...
"Hi thanks for your email...yadayadayada....we update our pages often if you cant see what you are looking for come back again and have another look"
Does anyone know where else on the internet I can order Gianmarco Lorenzi Shoes shoe so that I can try and get hold of them and get an order placed? I have sent an enquiry to GML themselves but again have not heard diddle.
Being that my girlfriend has shown a distinct love of the shoes I am not going to let this opertunity go by without trying!

Agree these are fab I've just placed an order with Elite Heels for my gf's Birthday pressie and this pair of shoes made it in to the final two...unfortunatly I couldnt find a hand bag to go with them anywhere so...... I ordered these for her.. However in second place they are still going to be a follow on order!
