  1. I've ordered a couple of pairs from them for my GF... The advice I would give is to discuss your size requirements prior to ordering. I believe that the various styles are made by a number of different suppliers (as you'd expect) and sizes do vary. Also the turn around of your inquiry wont be instant, I think usually its about a week turn around...I guess people have other jobs as well as running an online high heels business :cry1:

  2. Clever idea. I'm sure he's buying them from someone on ioffer and getting them shipped to the customer. Come to think of it... maybe it's an enterprising seller from China with a UK contact.

I'd rather get ones with the fake branding on them.

Dr. Shoe... Were the shoes at Dagenham faked right down to the logos?

Spiker... Good point but when it comes to design I think YSL are way ahead of Leatherworks. Have you seen some of the horrific corset lace platforms they make?

If he is acting as a proxy buyer via iOffer then he is taken a risk as I've recently read people buying shoes on iOffer and getting sent a purse. Paying via Paypal also makes things significantly complicated...apparently.

I guess the reason they dont have the YSL branding (in the pictures at least) is to get over the Ebay anti fake stance, as long as you say its YSL "like" then I guess thats the get out clause.

Either way I'd be interested in see what the quality is like, and assuming that the supply is reliable, I'd much order off here than direct with iOffer.

Might be worth keeping track of the seller simply to see if he/she stays around for long.

  3. Hi all! I have stumbled across these and am currently having the urge to purchase...! Problem is.... a. It appears that they were only sold in the States... b. They are last years season so finding any in stock anywhere (US or UK) is proving to be a nightmare... c. A scour of Ebay has pulled up one pair, and again they are in the States which means the Tax man will get his chunk of my money - when they have them in my size... :) Colour isn't so important - black, silver or red I dont really care... So the question is...are they really worth all the effort? Are they a yay or a nay, and does anyone else have any advice on tracking them down? Thanks!

  4. Cheap canvas lace up shoes (the dirtier and knackered the better apparently) seem to be the de riguere round my way at the moment. If there is one thing that I cant stand is cheap looking dirty knackered canvas lace up shoes.

  5. Thanks for the reply Roz We are in Bristol so not a million miles from London and a long weekend has been discussed in the past...so as you say the visit to the shop could be part of the experience ;-)) I just wanted to have a browse on the net to see what prices compared for like for like and colour combinations available etc. As you point out though I expected demand high which in turns equals less competitive prices. The money is there I just need to make an acquisition! She has been pointing them out and has said she wanted to treat herself to a pair of "proper shoes" as she put it...its the patent blue soles she is after. She means alot to me and I am very proud of her recent achievements and thought would be a nice treat... Thanks again

  6. I'm in the process of "trying" to source a pair of YSL "Tribute Too's" for my GF. Unfortunately searches on Google only seems to pull up pictures of various peeps wearing them, and not finding sources of where I can buy them! ;-) So I'm asking you knowledgeable lot if you know of any (reputable) sites/shops/suppiers where I can at least make a few enquireries? Ebay is littered with them but don't really want to go down that route. The obvious choice is to walk in to a YSL shop...however they aren't found on every street corner like paper shops. Anyone got any thoughts?

  7. First question is where in the south? Which bit of the UK?

This company is based in Sidmouth Devon, however I am unsure if they accept customer visits.

I've used someone in London who has made a number of custom shoes for my girlfriend, she has wide feet and struggles to find nice, good quality shoes. We are very happy with the quality very very comfy and service is excellent. They do obviously come at a price - start at £300 for shoes and approx £500 for boots, that is unfortunatly the going rate for "proper" custom shoes/ boots.

Why not try getting a pair online, it wont be the first time I am sure that someone has ordered the wrong size boots.

  8. Saw this some weeks ago with everyone panicking as they saw "Closing Down" and made a beeline to the store, GF included. At the time, looking at the savings they were only a couple of quid and I think it is a way of them passing on the recent drop of VAT tarted up as a Sale. Using a bit of judicious scaremongering to draw the crowds in I think...dangerous ploy.

  9. You can talk about 18 inch heels and ballet boots without creating porn. Just as much as you could have a ballet boot in a shop window and not break any law or offend anyone.

That doesn't seem so difficult to understand.

Ultra High Heels and fetish things - Here you can discuss 7" heels, foot training/stretching, ballet boots, corsetry, wet and messy, worn shoes and related fetish interests.

Perhaps this heading needs to include "No Nudity" just to make things crystal clear to those new to the forum still finding their feet.

"Fetish related interest" can cover a whole load of different subjects...

I personally think that if you are going to be heading into a Fetish Area of the forum then something more "fruity" than other areas of the board are going to be shown and need to be adult about it. The mods are in a position to moderate content if they feel obliged and doesn't meet the rules. I personally don't see what the fuss is.

Someone posted something they shouldn't, it got moderated...thats part of life in an Internet forum isn't it?

  10. Pretty much what everyone else said...I ordered and delivered two months after advertised time on site. I was informed of the delay throughout although I had to ask the question, and not informed. Quality is ok...
