Hi Ionic. The shoes in my avatar are from La Piazza. They are my favourites. Here's a better pic. Yes - I am a size 38 (UK 5 1/2).

I always meant to ask you that one about your avatar; they are rather dramatic indeed. By the way, are you truly a shoe sz38 ??

Jay and Daz - thank you for your replies. Good to know. I am being so naughty this year. Keep on finding new styles to buy and going for it. These are simply beautiful - they don't look so stable but good to hear the opposite. Should I do it?

Anyone got a pair of these? Found them on La Piazza. They look great. If someone has some, I'd love to know if they are comfortable/wearable? They are 18cm-20cm heels.

Lovely pumps Laurie. Those pictures of extreme 6 inch plus pumps we sometimes see visitors post are not a patch on the classic lines of yours, in my opinion.

Speaking from experience, I would NOT recommend trying this when there is snow! Since grip is normally limited to just the stiletto heel itself and slippery front to the shoe, things do tend to get unpredictable. Be careful there.

Next time you try something like this, do it when there is snow on the ground. Falling down would be cushioned.

Although I have not tried the above, I have played in snow while wearing heels, hose and miniskirts. You'd be surprised that when aroused, you don't feel the cold.

Agree and disagree. If you are a regular wearer of heels, it's easier I think. Once a week wearers etc I think might find it harder?

If you are competent at walking sober without thinking about it - then walking drunk is not a problem - at least for me.

Hi HHfanatic - mine are made of leather (I simply can't wear plastic. Not my style). Not sure about the ones from La Piazza. Anyone know?
