  1. Hi Franie,Im not an amputee but liked your post and and Im very impressed that you love to wear high heels.Interesting to me that its not hard to walk with a crutch in HH,I never would have guessed it.Just keep on keeping on in HH .

  2. Here are some shots of me in leggings. I usually try to pair them with longer tops to prevent frontal showing. The fourth pic is of denim-style leggings, only they're the dark denim so they don't show too clearly in the pic.

Hi,Danielinheels, love your pictures. My favorite is the second one, theheels are great.
  3. Flares are OK but like anything, sensible and moderation. I feel so sorry for any model who falls on the runway for whatever reason. And if you wear your pants too long and they don't show off your high heels, haven't you defeated your purpose?

I agree, if your heels dont show whats the purpose. I love all my heels and want them to them to be seen. I also have a problem with mules getting caught up in flared jeans if the hem isnt just above the heel.
  4. I wear slingbacks once in a while. I do like them alot. The sliding up and down takes some getting used to. What I like about slingbacks is the feeling and ease of mules but are a little more secure when walking.

  5. I like to shop secondhand and consignment stores alot. Its like a treasure hunt, sometimes you find really great stuff and sometimes you go home empty handed. What I like is finding a pair of really nice heels, still in great shape but just broken in enough to be very comfortable. And you can shop for clothes too.

  6. I have always worn heels that fit tight so I didnt slide around in them. I bought a pair of 4" black slingbacks at a consignment store recently and they fit perfectly except they were a wide width. I bought them anyway because they didnt cost much and Id give them away if I couldnt wear them. But it turns out I love them,I lose them once in a while and slide around in them when I walk but there the most comfortable shoes Ive got. And there low cut.Might start buying all my heels a little looser.

  7. Today I got a visit today from the office manager. Seems that my shoe dangling is causing a distraction for a certain unnamed male co-worker.I was told this person couldnt concentrate on his work watching me slide my heels on and off.I was not doing this intentionly but with some shoes it just come naturally. I might have to start wearing lace up shoes.

  8. Hi Tammy ,I dont have any corns but a bunion on my right foot.I still wear higher heels but found wearing lower heels is really nice. Also getting wider width heels seems to make heels a lot easier to walk in.Nothing new but thats my input.

  9. I agree with your wife, there only bloody heels.Your to possessive. There are not to many heels that are not replaceable. You should enjoy going out with your wife and that fact that she enjoys your shoes.

  10. That's a new one on me. I haven't tried leggings yet, but I do have a pair of tight stirrup pants that fit inside of my boots pretty well.

    Cheers---

    Dawn HH

I used to wear stirrup pants when I was a young girl. I hadnt worn them in years. A couple months ago I found a pair of legging denim stirrup pants at Macys.I love them,I wear them all the time in fact I bought another pair. They go great with boots but I wear them with pumps and mules and slides.
  11. I wish someone would make a springolator type shoe again.I bought a vintage pair a few years that where in pretty good shape. There black with a 4 inch heel and the elastic is still very tight. If you have never worn them there the most comfortable mules to wear. The elastic strap in the sole makes them stay tight to your foot so there not slapping on your heel as much as a regular mule.Id buy another pair but there hard to find in my size.
